In the March 22 episode of ABC\u2019s <\/span><em data-pf_style_display=\"inline\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">The Good Doctor, <\/span><\/em><span class=\"text-node\">titled \u201cTeeny Blue Eyes\u201d, Dr. Shaun Murphy and his girlfriend debate going through with an unplanned pregnancy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun (Freddie Highmore) and Lea (Paige Spara) are in a new live-in relationship. Lea is unexpectedly pregnant. Both Shaun and Lea want to have children but the question is whether or not this is the right time to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">One concern is that since Shaun is autistic, the baby may also be autistic. Isn&#8217;t it politically incorrect to be concerned about such a thing as a hereditary disability? Another concern is that Shaun is entering a demanding career as a surgeon and Lea is building her career in computer technology at the hospital. (By the way, why do medical professionals on TV find themselves in situations like unplanned pregnancies, anyway?)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">As is Shaun\u2019s habit in decision-making, he makes a list of pros and cons. Lea does the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MRC TV video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/embed\/558677\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1 pf-delete\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: That smells good.\u00a0Bland.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: MM, pasta with olive oil.\u00a0Kinda puke-proof.\u00a0Have you thought any more about&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: Yes.\u00a0I made a list.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: \u00a0I guess I&#8217;ve learned from you.\u00a0What&#8217;s the first thing yours says?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: That I think I would be a good father&#8230;\u00a0But that I can&#8217;t know for sure.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: \u00a0You&#8217;d make a great dad.\u00a0It&#8217;s on my list.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: You were right.\u00a0It is very complicated.\u00a0But I do know&#8230;\u00a0&#8230;I want you to be happy, Lea.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: I have so many reasons to do this.\u00a0And so many doubts.\u00a0I&#8217;m just scared, Shaun.\u00a0But if we are both having doubts, then maybe now isn&#8217;t the right time.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: Okay.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/another-study-frets-tv-abortion-propaganda-isnt-glowing-enough\/\">Another study frets that TV abortion propaganda isn\u2019t glowing enough<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">Clearly, they both want a baby but are nervous about how their lives will change and doubts cloud their judgment. The decision to abort their baby seems half-hearted. Yet, the appointment is made and they go to the clinic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">Then, fortunately, they admit that this isn\u2019t the decision they want and decide to go through with the pregnancy. Lea was trying to tell herself it was &#8220;a good idea,&#8221; but having the abortion &#8220;doesn&#8217;t make [her] feel any better.&#8221; In fact, &#8220;it just makes [her] feel really sad.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MRC TV video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/embed\/558678\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Nurse: Lea Dilallo?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: She called your name.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: I spent all day reminding myself of all the reasons\u00a0why this was a good idea. But now that it&#8217;s actually happening,\u00a0it&#8230;doesn&#8217;t make me feel any better.\u00a0It just makes me feel really sad. Maybe it&#8217;s not the right time, but will it ever be?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: I feel the same.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: Are we really doing this?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Shaun: We are having a baby. Yes.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><em><span class=\"text-node\">Lea: Yeah?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\" data-pf_style_display=\"block\" data-pf_style_visibility=\"visible\"><span class=\"text-node\">It\u2019s good news! Ending the life of an unborn baby over whether or not the timing is perfect is beyond nauseating. The pro-abortion industry has tried to train people to think it is a &#8220;good idea,&#8221; but like Lea said, abortion only brings sadness.
