In the mid-to-late 1990s<\/a>, Planned Parenthood\u00a0suggested<\/a>\u00a0in an annual report that prenatal care was its \u201cfastest-growing area.\u201d Today, the tune has drastically changed. Prenatal care at Planned Parenthood has been on the decline even as its abortion numbers continue to increase year after year. Over the span of a decade\u00a0\u2014 the corporation’s\u00a02009-2010<\/a> annual report\u00a0through its most recent\u00a02019-2020<\/a>\u00a0report \u2014\u00a0Planned Parenthood provided a total of 200,530 prenatal services. At the same time, they committed nearly four\u00a0<\/strong>million abortions<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Today, Planned Parenthood’s website<\/a> makes it clear that only “some” Planned Parenthood facilities actually offer\u00a0prenatal care. But as recently as 2017, Planned Parenthood’s website misled potential clients by listing “Prenatal” at the top of its web pages under pregnancy services. In actuality, few were offering prenatal care of any kind, as a Live Action undercover investigation learned<\/a>. Out of 97 facilities called, only five<\/strong>\u00a0said they offered any type of service to mothers who wanted to carry their babies to term. Nearly every Planned Parenthood staffer plainly told<\/a> investigators they did not offer<\/a> prenatal services at Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

After the release of Live Action’s investigation, Planned Parenthood purged<\/a> its websites. Not long after, additional women reached out to various Planned Parenthood facilities, many in their local communities, and confirmed<\/a> Live Action’s\u00a0findings.\u00a0Former Planned Parenthood managers have even stated that in their experience, Planned Parenthood actually had nothing to offer pregnant women besides abortion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A\u00a02020 survey of all U.S. abortion businesses (not just Planned Parenthood)\u00a0revealed<\/a>\u00a0that just 18% offered\u00a0any<\/em>\u00a0kind of prenatal and\/or obstetric care.<\/p>\n
