During a recent “You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton” podcast featuring pro-abortion House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Clinton vowed to work to protect abortion access in the United States for her grandchildren \u2014\u00a0so that they can live up to their “God-given potential.”<\/p>\n

As previously reported<\/a> by Live Action News, during the January 18, 2021 podcast, Pelosi said pro-life voters give her “great grief,” but then went on to tell Clinton that the future is all about the children. “You know, we can take care of our children, but the grandchildren, they’re our messengers to the future […] I always say to the women, ‘when you get into the arena, you have to be ready to take a punch. But you also have to be ready to throw a punch \u2014 for the children.'”<\/p>\n

Clinton replied:<\/p>\n

Amen. […] I think, your nine grandchildren? [Pelosi: Yes.] And my three grandchildren. So we have a dozen perfectly good reasons to get up every day and continue to fight for the future we want, not just for our grandkids, but really for every child [Pelosi: All the children] to live up to his or her God given potential. That’s what it’s all about.<\/em><\/p>\n

Both women seem to be oblivious<\/em> to the hypocrisy of their statements. They talk proudly about fighting for<\/em> children, but their deep dedication to the abortion industry proves otherwise. Promoting the killing of children before birth as “sacred<\/a>” is not protecting children’s right to life<\/a>, the most basic human right<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Pelosi is dedicated<\/a> to ending the Hyde Amendment, which saves an estimated 60,000 lives a year by preventing the funding of abortion through Medicaid. Clinton has also called<\/a> for the Hyde Amendment to end. The Hyde Amendment has long ensured that the government provides health care<\/em> for low-income women and their children through Medicaid rather than abortion. To get rid of the Hyde Amendment as President Joe Biden hopes to do would mean abortion would be offered for free to low-income women, targeting their children for death. It is apparently more cost-effective for the government to kill babies through abortion than to pay for their prenatal care and health care.<\/p>\n

Pelosi also\u00a0attempted<\/a> to secretly add abortion funding into a COVID-19 stimulus package.\u00a0Live Action founder and president Lila Rose responded to the rumored Pelosi scheme,\u00a0tweeting<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s despicable that at a time of national crisis, Pelosi is attempting to trick Americans into paying for the deaths of babies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinton said that her grandchildren give her a reason to get up every day and “fight for the future we want […] for every child to live up to his or her God-given potential.” But she includes so-called ‘abortion rights’ in this fight. Every<\/em> child should be able to live up to her God-given potential, but Clinton and Pelosi don’t actually<\/em> believe that<\/em>. No one can honestly fight for every child to live up to her potential while simultaneously fighting against her right to be born.<\/p>\n

To date, 62 million human beings have been denied the right to live up to their full “God-given potential” in the United States since Roe v. Wade<\/em> legalized abortion in 1973. Every single day in the US, 2,363 babies are killed through abortion \u2014 children who (based on Pelosi and Clinton’s own alleged Christian beliefs) were created by God<\/em> in the image and likeness of God<\/em>. And if Pelosi and Clinton have their way, even more children will be killed by abortionists \u2014 and the government will support it and pay for it with taxpayer funding.<\/p>\n

The message Clinton and Pelosi are sending to women is that their\u00a0own<\/em> children and grandchildren’s futures matter, but the futures of other women’s children and grandchildren don’t<\/em>. For Pelosi and Clinton, a woman’s income status determines whether or not her child’s God-given life and potential are worth fighting for.<\/p>\n
