Part of an expanding TelAbortion clinical trial, one abortion chain claims one of its goals is to promote the idea that abortion is “normal.” In its latest annual report, Carafem claims part of its mission is to \u201cuse our public voice to destigmatize and normalize abortion for what is it \u2014 a normal, common, and safe form of health care that one in four people will experience in their reproductive lifetime.\u201d The only problem with that statement is that abortion is anything but “normal.” It may be far too common<\/em>, violently ending the lives of 2,363 preborn children every day \u2014 and sometimes even ends the lives of their mothers\u00a0\u2014 but killing one’s own children can never be considered “normal.”<\/p>\n

Carafem is part of a Telabortion trial being conducted under the\u00a0sponsorship<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Gynuity Health Projects (GHP),\u00a0funded<\/a>\u00a0by organizations with deep historic ties to the American\u00a0eugenics<\/a>\u00a0movement. These trials seek to offer deadly abortion pills without<\/em>\u00a0important in-person visits to properly assess gestational age or rule out life-threatening ectopic pregnancies. These safety requirements were originally put in place by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).<\/p>\n

According to its website, Carafem \u201cprovides the\u00a0abortion pill<\/a>\u00a0within the first 11 weeks of a missed period,\u201d past the FDA recommended time limit of 10 weeks. Live Action News has previously\u00a0documented<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0at 11 weeks of pregnancy, Planned Parenthood itself admits that the abortion pill\u00a0fails 13% of the time<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 nearly\u00a0double<\/em>\u00a0the failure rate for the abortion pill given just two weeks earlier.<\/p>\n
