Human trafficking is defined as forcing a person into work against their will, with sex trafficking specifically forcing victims into prostitution. It is estimated that as many as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dosomething.org\/us\/facts\/11-facts-about-human-trafficking#:~:text=Estimates%20suggest%20that%20about%2050%2C000,trafficking%20cases%20involving%20only%20children.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">40 million people<\/a> are trafficked around the globe, with women and girls making up the vast majority of those people. Most women who become victims of sex trafficking were abused as children, and enter the sex trade between 12 and 14 years old. And sadly, the abortion industry allows these victims to continue being used and exploited by their traffickers without being detected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/link-sex-trafficking-abortion-planned-parenthood\/\">The link between sex trafficking, abortion, and Planned Parenthood<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One <a href=\"http:\/\/www.annalsofhealthlaw.com\/annalsofhealthlaw\/vol_23_issue_1?pg=75#pg75\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a> found that 55% of sex trafficking victims were forced into abortions, with 30% having undergone more than one. One survivor told researchers, \u201cI was under serious pressure from my pimps to abort the babies.\u201d Victims were often taken to Planned Parenthood \u2014 the nation&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-almost-40-percent-us-abortions\/\">number one abortion provider<\/a> \u2014 because, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/sex-trafficking-victims-planned-parenthood-dint-ask-questions\/\">as one victim explained<\/a>, <strong>\u201cPlanned Parenthood didn\u2019t ask any questions.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Live Action&#8217;s seven-part docuseries and investigation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/aidingabusers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aiding Abusers<\/a>, documented the systemic cover-up of sex trafficking by Planned Parenthood, using interviews from former employees, recorded cases, prosecutions, and more. Watch the video below for an overview of the series, which\u00a0exposed a systemic decades-long cover-up of child sexual abuse at Planned Parenthood:<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6R8gtSP3Guk\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next, the series examined recorded cases of sexual abuse, which Planned Parenthood did not report to authorities. One rapist, for example, took his daughter three times to get abortions, with the abortion corporation refusing to tell anyone about the abuse. The young girl continued to suffer at her father&#8217;s hands for another seven years.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E-Z8KlRUn6A\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The testimony of former Planned Parenthood staffers is featured in the third video, with four ex-employees stating that covering up sexual abuse was part of the abortion chain&#8217;s culture. Former Planned Parenthood manager Sue Thayer said employees were discouraged from reporting abuse because Planned Parenthood didn&#8217;t want to deal with the &#8220;trouble.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/igQlxvXdn4s\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The fourth video revisited Live Action&#8217;s statutory rape investigation in which Planned Parenthood staffers repeatedly looked the other way as undercover investigators told counselors they were young teens impregnated by much older men. Rather than involve police, staffers advised the girls on how to skirt age restrictions and keep their abusers from being discovered.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oOYwNzVljP0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Live Action&#8217;s sex trafficking investigation was revisited in the fifth video. In this investigation, staffers at seven Planned Parenthood facilities demonstrated a willingness to help people \u2014 whom they believed were child sex traffickers \u2014 to get abortions and birth control for their victims. Staffers were told the girls were as young as 14 and 15, but authorities were not notified.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jd3Z82xpcmA\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After Live Action&#8217;s investigations, Planned Parenthood vowed to retrain staff to better detect and report sex abuse and trafficking. Yet former Planned Parenthood manager Ramona Trevi\u00f1o explained that in fact, the abortion giant merely trained staff on how to better identify undercover investigators and keep their illegal activities secret from investigators.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Cid0b_dlTl0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the final video, attorney Brian Hurley discussed his experience bringing two lawsuits against Planned Parenthood on behalf of two young girls whose rapes the abortion chain did not report. Hurley said Planned Parenthood litigated his cases so fiercely that he believes the intent was to make it prohibitively expensive for his case to continue \u2014 even though the plaintiffs he was representing were sexual abuse victims who came from poverty and didn&#8217;t have much money.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-2RV38GhVc8\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sex trafficking is one of the greatest evils the world has to overcome, and yet, as long as the abortion industry remains complicit in this evil without being held accountable, it will continue to flourish.<\/p>\n<p>Traffickers readily force their victims to undergo abortions as a means to keep their crimes from being detected, and keep money flowing.
