The truth is abortion <em>is<\/em> a violent act with the sole intention of killing an innocent preborn human being.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>WARNING: This article contains disturbing images of abortion victims.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Live Action and Rose have long <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/breaking-planned-parenthood-shooter-custody-pro-life-leaders-comment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">condemned<\/a> acts of violence, whether committed in the form of abortion or carried out against those in the abortion industry. The abortion industry does not do likewise, instead refusing to condemn <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-choice-violence-lie-alarming-frequencey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">violent acts against pro-lifers<\/a>, which have been on the rise in recent years.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-237751\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Torres-tweet-terrorism.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"454\" height=\"490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Torres-tweet-terrorism.jpg 454w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Torres-tweet-terrorism-278x300.jpg 278w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 454px) 100vw, 454px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abortion is violent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every day, approximately 2,363 preborn human beings are killed by abortion in the United States. Since 1973, when abortion was legalized through all nine months of pregnancy, nearly 62 million preborn lives have been violently and purposefully ended.<\/p>\n<p>The earliest of preborn lives are destroyed via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/study-abortion-pill-four-times-dangerous-surgical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion pill regimen<\/a>, which works in two steps. The first pill, mifepristone (also known as RU-486), blocks progesterone \u2014 a naturally produced hormone that supports the growing baby \u2014 and cuts off nourishment, starving the baby to death. The second pill, misoprostol, works with mifepristone to cause contractions and expel the deceased child.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a first-trimester surgical abortion, the abortionist forces open the cervix and then uses a suction catheter and a suction machine with a force 10-20 times that of a household vacuum to rapidly tear the baby apart.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5THDmys8z30\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An induction abortion is committed from 25 weeks to full term when children are capable of surviving outside the womb and of feeling pain. To kill the child, feticide is injected into the child&#8217;s head or heart with the purpose of causing cardiac arrest and death. The mother must wait <em>a few days<\/em> before giving birth to her dead baby.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r5Af8vIym2o\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another less known type of abortion is <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-umbilical-cord-cardiac-arrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exsanguination<\/a>, in which the baby is drained of her blood by cutting the umbilical cord. The abortionist then waits for her to die.\u00a0But the most violent abortion procedure currently in use is also the most common one used in the second trimester. During a D&amp;E abortion, a child&#8217;s arms and legs are violently torn from her torso before she is decapitated and her skull crushed. It is as <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/former-abortion-worker-reveals-horror-de-abortions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">horrific as it sounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy described a D&amp;E procedure, quoting from the testimony of late-term abortionist Dr. Leroy Carhart, who commits these abortions regularly:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn from limb from limb. The fetus can be alive at the beginning of the dismemberment process and can survive for a time while its limbs are being torn off.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In June 2020, Carhart &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/late-term-abortionist-mangled-patients-babies-traumatized\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mangled<\/a>&#8221; two women so badly during D&amp;E abortions that hospital emergency room staffers were traumatized by what they saw. One of the patients had a hole torn in her uterus, and her baby&#8217;s body parts had been forced through it. She had to have her bowel resected and received a colostomy with an external bag. The other woman required a hysterectomy because the damage to her organs was so horrific.<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood abortionist Lisa Harris once described committing a D&amp;E abortion while she herself was pregnant:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>With my first pass of the forceps, I grasped an extremity and began to pull it down. I could see a small foot hanging from the teeth of my forceps. With a quick tug, I separated the leg. Precisely at that moment, I felt a kick \u2013 a fluttery \u201cthump, thump\u201d in my own uterus. It was one of the first times I felt fetal movement. There was a leg and foot in my forceps, and a \u201cthump, thump\u201d in my abdomen. Instantly, tears were streaming from my eyes&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The victims of abortion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Photographs of children killed through abortion are graphic and heartwrenching, heartbreaking photographs, but there are also <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-survivors-choice-word-person\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion survivors<\/a> who class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nik Hoot, Josiah Presley<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Nik Hoot <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-survivor-missing-limbs-choice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lost portions of his limbs<\/a> to an abortionist&#8217;s attempt on his life. &#8220;I knew that I was supposed to be an aborted baby and it failed,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It makes me angry because I would never want for that to happen to any kid. Anybody can become anything, and getting rid of a kid like that isn&#8217;t right to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Josiah Presley <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-survivor-i-feel-burden-voice-those-dont-have-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">survived<\/a> a D&amp;C abortion at just eight weeks. As a result of the abortion, he has a disfigured arm.\u00a0\u201cFor years I did struggle with my deformity and even contemplated suicide,\u201d he said. \u201cAs the Lord has worked in my life, He has shown me that my identity is not in my deformity. That my identity is in Him, and He has a purpose and will for my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Damage to women<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Women who have <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/3-women-abortion-pill-horro\/\">undergone abortions<\/a>\u00a0have\u00a0experienced the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/post-abortion-trauma-real-researchers-denying\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trauma<\/a> of abortion first hand and lived to tell about it. One woman spoke of her abortion at 26 weeks saying, &#8220;I can remember him [Dr. Tiller] half delivering my baby, jabbing scissors into his head and killing him, then just kind of throwing him to the side and finishing up.&#8221; Abortionist <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/lack-inspections-pennsylvania-abortion-pandemic-house-horrors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kermit Gosnell<\/a>\u00a0killed countless newborns this way and was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/the-true-horror-in-kermit-gosnells-house-of-horrors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tried<\/a> for the deaths of seven of them, and the death of one woman.<\/p>\n<p>As a teen, Christine Loughead was forced into abortions.\u00a0\u201cIn my mind, those days when the doctors dismembered my child in my body they not only killed my child, they raped me in the process,&#8221; she <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/post-abortive-mom-rape-bad-abortions-worse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Live Action News. &#8220;After I said no, they ripped open my legs and inserted things inside me. So much for bodily autonomy. [\u2026]\u00a0Institutionalization was pretty bad. Rape was pretty bad too. But the abortions were the worst.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortionist-god-abortions-loses-medical-license\/\">Abortionist who said \u2018God performs way more abortions than I do\u2019 loses medical license<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abortionists know that abortion is violence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abortionists (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/some-pro-choice-activists-admit-abortion-kills-life-i-knew-it-was-a-baby\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">and abortion advocates<\/a>) know abortion is an act of violence. Abortionist\u00a0Lisa Harris told an audience at a National Abortion Federation convention that abortion activists should acknowledge that the photos of aborted children, like those above, are real, and that abortion is violence:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>[I] actually think that we should be less about denying the reality of those images. More about acknowledging, that yeah, that\u2019s kind of true. \u2026 We might actually both agree that there\u2019s violence in here, ask me why I come to work every day. Let\u2019s just give them all, the violence, it\u2019s a person, killing \u2013 let\u2019s just give them all that.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Former abortion worker Catherine Adair recalled how she would tell women &#8220;the doctor was going to &#8216;gently extract the contents of the uterus.'&#8221; In reality, she explained, &#8220;[T]heir baby would be in agony as the doctor used forceps and sharp instruments to dismember their child, pulling and tugging until the baby was ripped apart and he could pull the body out, piece by piece.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another abortionist, Dr. Bertran Wainer,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-workers-admit-we-know-we-are-taking-life\/\">admitted<\/a> that abortion is exactly what pro-lifers say it is. &#8220;Abortion is killing,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Nobody can argue with that.
