Pro-abortion feminist Kate Parsons wrote an article in 2010 about her miscarriages and how she struggled to cope with them due to her beliefs.\u00a0In Parsons’ second miscarriage, her baby died but her body didn\u2019t expel the child. Parsons was given misoprostol, the second drug in the abortion pill regimen, to complete the miscarriage. This was not an abortion<\/em>, but the same drug was used.<\/p>\n

Parsons commented on her experience, which was quite traumatic. First, she noted that taking abortion drugs was by no means an “easy” experience:<\/p>\n

As the days of the “miscarrying” \u2013 of heavy bleeding and severe cramping \u2013 went on, I became increasingly angry at the protestations I had heard over providing home access to this drug, such as, “If we let people take it home with them, it trivializes abortion; it makes it too easy.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Anyone who had launched such protestations clearly had no personal experience with the drug’s effects and probably had not talked to anyone who had.<\/em><\/p>\n

She described cramps that were \u201cagonizing\u201d and the trauma of passing large clots and \u201ctissue\u201d:<\/p>\n

The cramps were, even with heavy pain medication, at points agonizing. And I just could not even fathom how anyone, upon visiting the bathroom every half hour and watching large clumps of blood fall in the toilet, could allege that this was thereby a trivialized process.<\/em><\/p>\n

If anything, the slow methodical dripping of blood and dropping of tissue from my body made the process more intense and more traumatic than I ever would have expected.<\/em><\/p>\n

Parsons doesn\u2019t describe the \u201ctissue\u201d she passed. But it\u2019s clear that her experience was painful both emotionally and physically.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s another admission, from a pro-abortion individual, about how traumatic taking abortion drugs can be. Other women who support abortion have also discussed<\/a>\u00a0how painful and difficult their experiences with the abortion pill were.<\/p>\n

One young woman was so devastated by grief after her abortion by pills that she said she \u201cwanted to die.\u201d<\/a> And in fact, one study found<\/a> that 77% of women who talked online about their abortions by pill regretted them.<\/p>\n

Another woman described \u201cweeping and screaming\u201d<\/a> after seeing her fully formed aborted baby in the toilet after her abortion by pill.\u00a0Another woman bled for five months<\/a> after taking the abortion pill.<\/p>\n
