In a recent feature shared to the Save the Storks Facebook page<\/a>, an\u00a0unnamed woman told of instantly regretting her decision to take the abortion pill, and says the abortion pill reversal<\/a> regimen has saved the life of her preborn baby.<\/p>\n

The woman said she took the first pill (mifepristone) at an abortion facility, but was filled with regret immediately. \u201cI blinked back my thoughts on the drive home. What had I done?” she wrote. She hadn’t taken the second drug of the abortion pill regimen (misoprostol), and began searching abortion pill reversal online, following the link she found.<\/p>\n

“They told me if I hadn\u2019t taken the second phase, I may be able to reverse the effects. No, I hadn\u2019t, I told them,” she said. “They said I could come in right away, but their brick and mortar clinic wouldn\u2019t be open. Instead, they said I could come to their mobile clinic to receive an ultrasound that very night. I pulled up close to the bright teal mobile unit, and I was ready for the ultrasound within minutes. My eyes glued to the screen, I clenched my teeth to keep my lips from trembling.”<\/p>\n

To her great relief, the nurse was able to find a heartbeat, and she said she smiled as she cried.<\/p>\n

“They gave me my first dose of progesterone that would be necessary to keep my baby alive,” she said. “Plunking myself in my car with a sigh, I put a hand on my stomach. I laughed softly, releasing tension like water from a tap. When I got home, I took the orange bottle the other nurse had given me and dropped it into the trash. I stood for a minute, looking at the orange plastic half hidden by the folds of the white trash bag. If I had taken it, it would have been all over. That heartbeat would have stopped.”<\/p>\n

At her next ultrasound two weeks later, her baby still had a strong heartbeat, and had grown even larger. “Amidst all the endings and promises of sorrow, I now have a beginning to look forward to,” she said. “Through all the pain, I can look to the future and see something beautiful \u2013 HOPE.\u201d<\/p>\n
