Live Action is changing hearts and minds on abortion and saving lives as we work to transform the culture of death to one that welcomes and protects life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-193617\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/LA_EmailBanners2018_3-9-1.jpg\" alt=\"https:\/\/give.liveaction.org\" width=\"650\" height=\"163\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In spite of COVID-19 and the challenges of 2020, Live Action had a <a href=\"https:\/\/give.liveaction.org\/live-action-2020-annual-report.html\">record-breaking year<\/a>. Here are our top five highlights of 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1. Live Action reached an all-time high of over five million followers across social media platforms.<\/b> Live Action continues to be the digital leader for the pro-life movement with the most followers online, reaching up to 100 million people a month with our powerful media content. We reach our followers through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/liveaction\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LiveAction\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/LiveActionFilms\">Youtube<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/liveactionorg\/\">Instagram<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@liveactionorg?lang=en\">TikTok<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/parler.com\/profile\/liveaction\/posts\">Parler<\/a>. In addition to our Live Action News website, Live Action News also has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/liveactionnewsonline\">Facebook<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LiveActionNews\">Twitter<\/a> accounts for human interest stories, pro-life laws and policies, and breaking pro-life news. Live Action surpassed an astounding one billion lifetime <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/LiveActionFilms\"><b>video<\/b><\/a><b> views<\/b> and we are on track to exceed 350 million in 2020 alone. These numbers are significant in comparison to pro-abortion organizations. In an average week on Facebook alone, Live Action reaches roughly 27 times the number of people Planned Parenthood does. That\u2019s millions of people who now see the evil of abortion for what it is, and will help those around them &#8211; their peers, family, and friends &#8211; to see the truth as well. Each video view provides the possibility that the right person will see the content at the right time &#8211; and a life will be saved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qnOcCfxLZlA\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>3. The Live Action team battled Big Tech&#8217;s <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/7-things-big-tech-suppress-live-action\/\"><b>social media censorship<\/b><\/a><b> in 2020<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including the censorship of our Facebook and TikTok accounts. TikTok completely removed Live Action&#8217;s account suddenly and without warning in 2020 for unnamed &#8220;community violations.&#8221; In addition, Facebook hid and removed Live Action&#8217;s content from the platform, including photos of preborn children growing in the womb. Pinterest and Youtube have also taken part in censoring Live Action, with Pinterest putting Live Action on the &#8220;porn block&#8221; list and eventually banning Live Action from Pinterest entirely. Twitter also continues to ban Live Action from advertising on it\u2019s platform. Despite the censorship, our social media followers continue to rise rapidly and Live Action continues to fight back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>4. In 2020, Live Action led a multifaceted campaign called &#8220;<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/live-action-abortion-pill-kills-deadly-truth\/\"><b>Abortion Pill Kills<\/b><\/a><b>&#8220;<\/b> which exposed the abortion industry&#8217;s push to expand use of the abortion pill. The campaign included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CEpmTRZhrv3\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">letter<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the FDA with signatures from over 92 members of Congress<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Over 100 news articles<\/li>\n<li>First-hand accounts of women who took the abortion pill<\/li>\n<li>Two mini-documentaries on the history and funding of the abortion pill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Abortion Pill Kills campaign&#8217;s video content alone received more than 64 million views. This campaign was not only vital in exposing the abortion industry\u2019s effort to expand the use of the pill, but in highlighting the truth of what the pill does &#8211; kill an innocent child at the earliest stages of his or her development by starving the baby to death.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to spreading the deadly truth about the abortion pill, Live Action stresses the existence of the <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\/\">Abortion Pill Reversal hotline<\/a>. Many people do not know that abortion pill reversal exists, but many women do have instant regret after they consume the first abortion pill. Until we can remove the abortion pill from the market, we educate woman to know the dangerous truths of the deadly pill, and have access to last-minute reversal treatments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lwfT5ChAPoo\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>5. A 2020 Live Action survey of our followers revealed 38% of the participants said Live Action&#8217;s content changed their position on abortion.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Every day, Live Action followers share with us how our content has strengthened their pro-life views, changed their minds on abortion, and even inspired them to choose life when faced with an unplanned pregnancy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These highlights have made 2020 an incredible year for Live Action and our efforts to educate the world on the truth of abortion. It is the gravest human rights abuse of our time. Every day in America, 2,363 babies are killed by abortion.
