Pro-life watchdog group Operation Rescue reports<\/a> that two women undergoing abortions in September 2020 at Austin Women’s Health Center in Austin, Texas, were both transported to the emergency room for uncontrolled hemorrhaging.<\/p>\n

Patient 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first emergency occurred on September 2, 2020. A 28-year-old woman suffered excessive bleeding after undergoing an abortion. An employee at the abortion business named “Julie” called 911 and told the emergency dispatcher that the patient was “having excessive bleeding — and they’re currently trying to manage it, but then, as a precaution, we want EMS to come out in case they can’t get it under control. And it’s vaginal bleeding.” She also said the patient was awake but she was uncertain if the patient was suffering from shock.<\/p>\n

Patient 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second emergency occurred just three weeks later on September 25, 2020. A 25-year-old woman hemorrhaged during a Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) dismemberment abortion that is committed during the second trimester. The same employee, “Julie,” called 911 to request an ambulance. Julie told 911 that the patient was “having some hemorrhage.” When asked if the patient had significant bleeding or shock symptoms, Julie replied, “Um, I mean, I know she has significant bleeding. That’s why I’m calling. But I’m not sure there are shock symptoms.”<\/p>\n
