Preborn babies wouldn\u2019t have life without men\u2019s role in reproduction, and preborn babies won\u2019t have the right to life without men\u2019s role in the pro-life movement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men play an essential role in producing babies, therefore we must play an essential role in protecting babies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But too many of us have accepted the narrative that our voices aren\u2019t valid or valuable on abortion. And in our silence, our laws shout that a vulnerable preborn baby\u2019s life isn\u2019t valid or valuable either.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are devastating costs to our silence \u2014 the cost of almost 60 million aborted babies since Roe v. Wade<\/em> was handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973. And while we cannot buy back time, while we cannot buy back decades of our silence and inaction, we can speak up today and prevent another 60 million murders over the next 50 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

After all, men aren\u2019t really silent on abortion. The most outspoken men on abortion are men who advocate for abortion \u2014 men who manipulate and pressure women into getting abortions. A survey by the <\/span>Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons<\/span><\/i> discovered that nearly 75% of women in post-abortive counseling were pressured into getting abortions. And they received much of the pressure from their boyfriends, husbands, fathers \u2014 men. I know that too well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Years ago, when I was 18, I received a phone call from a friend. And minutes into the phone call, she asked me, <\/span>\u201cSam, what would you say to a girl considering an abortion?\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

She and I regularly asked each other hypothetical questions. So I believed that was just another one of her hypothetical questions. I believed that was just a random question. I didn\u2019t know that question was the most pressing issue in her life. I didn\u2019t know my answer could save a life.<\/span>

\n<\/span>I didn\u2019t know she was pregnant at the time. I didn\u2019t know her boyfriend was pressuring her to get an abortion. I didn\u2019t know she needed a man \u2014 me \u2014 to protect her from that pressure. I didn\u2019t know she felt helpless. I didn\u2019t know she was asking for help \u2014my help.<\/span><\/p>\n

But I didn\u2019t know much about abortion at the time, anyway. I didn\u2019t know abortion ripped babies apart, limb-by-limb. I didn\u2019t know abortion decapitated and disemboweled babies. I didn\u2019t know that happened to a million babies in America every year. I didn\u2019t know and I didn\u2019t care.<\/span>

\n<\/span>So when my friend asked me, <\/span>\u201cSam, what would you say to a girl considering an abortion?\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

I answered: \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A few days later, my 18-year-old friend went to an abortion clinic, and they killed her baby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
