New documents obtained by the pro-life group Abortion On Trial<\/a> reveal that the University of New Mexico overnighted the body parts of a 19-week-old aborted baby to the University of South Florida via FED EX in 2016.<\/p>\n

The paperwork, which is included in evidence of aborted body parts trafficking at the University of New Mexico, specifies that body parts contained in the shipment are “19 week GI SPL,” most likely intestines and spleen.<\/p>\n

“These actions are barbaric and inhumane,” said Abortion on Trial in a Facebook post. “Fetal parts trafficking is a wide spread issue in America. We see these aborted baby parts coming from private providers like #SWO [Southwestern Women’s Options] as well as providers like #PlannedParenthood. Schools like #UNM, #USF, and #UCSF and the providers who send body parts to them should all be held accountable for their roles in this ghastly industry.”<\/p>\n

Additional documents<\/a> obtained by attorney Mike Seibel revealed that the University of New Mexico ships the body parts of aborted babies across the United States and into Canada. Those babies, who suffered violent deaths, were then dissected and sold for parts including their brains, lungs, and eyes.<\/p>\n

In addition to the University of South Florida, the University of Alabama at Birmingham received body parts, as did the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. In all, 20 universities received fetal body parts from the University of New Mexico, which works closely with late-term abortion facility Southwestern Women’s Options. SWO is currently being investigated for the second-trimester abortion death of Keisha Atkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Center for Medical Progress headed by David Daleiden exposed on a large scale the trafficking of aborted fetal body parts in 2015. Executives from Planned Parenthood and companies including StemExpress were heard discussing how to alter abortion procedures to best obtain the most intact requested body parts. Those videos led two Congressional committees to file criminal referrals with the Department of Justice. In 2017, the Department of Justice said it would take the case, but has yet to actually do so. According to Seibel, the Department of Justice must investigate and begin criminal prosecution by April 1, 2021.<\/p>\n
