According to <a href=\"https:\/\/abc11.com\/baby-mother-voice-hearing-aid\/6435826\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC11.com<\/a>, he recently heard his mother&#8217;s voice for the first time after being fitted for hearing aids. The video of his reaction has been viewed about five million times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/abc11.com\/video\/embed\/?pid=6435852\" width=\"576\" height=\"317\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maison was born prematurely after three people broke into his mother Lauryn Webb&#8217;s home in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littlethings.com\/maison-hears-mom-voice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">random home invasion<\/a>. She was shot three times during the attack and was rushed to the emergency room where Maison was delivered at about 24 weeks gestation. Doctors thought he might not survive, but he overcame all of the obstacles he faced.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/micro-preemie-triplets-22-weeks-survive-save\/\">Micro-preemie triplets born at 22 and 23 weeks survive after doctors did everything possible to save them<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After spending 158 days in the neonatal intensive care unit, Maison was able to go home with his parents. It was soon after that they realized he was unable to hear them. In the viral video, his mother says, &#8220;Hi! Can you hear me? Hi baby.&#8221; And the smile on his face when he hears his mother&#8217;s voice for the first time is precious.<\/p>\n<p>Webb told ABC11 that when Maison responded to her voice she started &#8220;bawling her eyes out.&#8221; Maison is said to now be thriving, with Webb\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodmorningamerica.com\/news\/story\/year-hears-mothers-voice-time-reaction-precious-73083089\">telling<\/a> &#8220;World News Tonight&#8221; that &#8220;Maison is so thrilled to be able to hear everything now. He just can\u2019t take his eyes off of whoever is speaking.
