Abortionist Leah Torres, who has gained notoriety for her shocking tweets, has had her medical license suspended in Alabama just a month after announcing she would be the new medical director at the West Alabama Women’s Center, an abortion business which is facing a criminal investigation<\/a> for the death of a patient. The Alabama Board of Medical Examiners stated that “LEAH N. TORRES, M.D. may constitute an immediate danger to her patients and\/or the public.”<\/p>\n

Torres was an abortionist at Planned Parenthood’s\u00a0Metro Health Center in Salt Lake City, Utah<\/a>, before taking the position in Alabama.\u00a0According to CEC for Life<\/a>, the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners<\/a> ordered Torres’ license, which was temporary, to be suspended due to fraudulent information Torres provided on her application<\/a>. A letter to Torres from E. Wilson Hunter, General Counsel for the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners, stated that Torres had “committed fraud in applying for a certificate of qualification to practice medicine in Alabama.” She was ordered to “immediately CEASE and DESIST from the practice of medicine in the State of Alabama.”<\/p>\n
