The advertisements explain how women can seek compensation if Planned Parenthood deceived them into believing their babies\u2019 organs were being donated when they were actually being sold. Ever since journalist David Daleiden and his Center for Medical Progress (CMP) team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/cmp\/investigative-footage\/\">exposed<\/a> how Planned Parenthood sold aborted body parts for profit, the corporation has relied on <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/forensic-analysis-finds-full-planned-parenthood-videos-authentic\/\">deception<\/a> to maintain its public image.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the media\u2019s complicity in promoting Planned Parenthood\u2019s agenda has prevented the Thomas More Society from reaching potential plaintiffs. The law firm had originally planned to air the commercial on every major network in California. But <em>every local affiliate refused to feature it<\/em>, citing concerns about the content.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XQJQQZ-Jnt0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe facts contained in these short little video clips have been corroborated by reports from Congress, the select investigation panel, and the Senate Judiciary Committee,\u201d said Paul Jonna, Special Counsel for the Thomas More Society, who spoke with Live Action News. \u201cWe\u2019re not just making stuff up &#8211; these are facts documented in the public record already. These companies actually asked for further information, and they still refused to air [the] [ads].\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hLJOf68Ss3E\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Streaming services were not any more receptive to the advertisements than broadcasting networks had been. Hulu outright refused to run the commercials, while Pandora offered to run them only if a significant portion of the content about Planned Parenthood was removed. Or, in the case of Premion, the advertisements could be permitted to air, but not during primetime streaming hours, meaning no one would see them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter which way we turned, the vast majority of media outlets didn\u2019t want to touch us with a ten foot pole,\u201d said Milan Brandon, who also serves as Special Counsel for the Thomas More Society. \u201cIt\u2019s radioactive.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEver since David Daleiden\u2019s videos came out in 2015, Planned Parenthood has been lying to the public,\u201d Brandon explained. \u201c\u2026Women in California and across the country still have no idea because Planned Parenthood has been pushing the narrative that this was a smear campaign. So I think these videos will be helpful.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Brandon told Live Action News, \u201cThe most important goal of this lawsuit would be to fully expose Planned Parenthood\u2019s enterprise, and to\u2026 get these folks under oath to answer questions in great detail about the fetal tissue program.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Brandon believes there is an opportunity present for the pro-life movement to hold Planned Parenthood accountable. Tom Brejcha, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society, agreed, telling Live Action News that Planned Parenthood cannot conceal the truth about their crimes for much longer.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an effort to put the facts not only before the American people, but before a trial in a judicial proceeding, subject to the rules of evidence,\u201d Brejcha said. \u201cWe want to make sure when push comes to shove that the proof is there for the world to see\u2026 We think it\u2019s high time that the facts be taken before the courts so that justice can be done.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>CMP\u2019s videos revealed how Planned Parenthood routinely <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-videos-not-edited\/\">prioritizes<\/a> profit over women\u2019s safety. Without women\u2019s consent or knowledge, the corporation alters abortion procedures and even commits egregious crimes like infanticide. As Brandon pointed out, regardless of one\u2019s stance on abortion, both sides of the abortion debate can agree that Planned Parenthood has behaved in a medically unethical manner.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026 It\u2019s about whether abortionists should be held accountable for their ethical lapses when their patients were dependent upon them,\u201d Brandon said. \u201cThese patients \u2013 they\u2019re in such a fragile and conflicted state as it is, and Planned Parenthood betrayed them.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jonna believes Planned Parenthood\u2019s efforts to cover up their crimes and suppress CMP\u2019s investigation will backfire on them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce this story goes viral &#8211; and now that there\u2019s this concerted effort to block information from the public \u2013 I think when major outlets pick this story up, it\u2019s gonna go viral. The things they\u2019ve been trying so hard to block from public view are gonna be shown in a different context. The story now is gonna be the censorship that we\u2019re seeing by the large and powerful media organization,\u201d he stated.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/its-all-lingo-planned-parenthood-isnt-reimbursed-for-fetal-body-parts\/\">\u201cIt\u2019s all lingo\u201d \u2013 Planned Parenthood isn\u2019t \u2018reimbursed\u2019 for fetal body parts<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brejcha promised the public can expect more to happen with Planned Parenthood within the \u201cnext weeks, months, and years to come.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlanned Parenthood is running against the truth,\u201d Brejcha noted. \u201cThe truth is finally catching up with this racist, eugenicist organization\u2026 The battle royale is at its highest intensity, and it continues. And what the ultimate result will be remains to be seen.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve been acting as though they\u2019re above the law, and they certainly have enormous civil liability,\u201d Jonna agreed. &#8220;Meanwhile, the public has been led to believe there\u2019s no case at all. Planned Parenthood never did anything wrong\u2026 and this \u2018smear campaign\u2019 was just to spread misinformation.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jonna mentioned the appeal for Daleiden\u2019s case \u2013 where a judge found him <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-life-journalists-banned-planned-parenthood-events\/\">liable<\/a> to Planned Parenthood for damages \u2013 has made its way to the Ninth Circuit Court.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe pressures of the trial are over, but we\u2019re still focused on having the verdict reversed on appeal,\u201d Jonna said.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe journalistic profession is also on trial,\u201d Brejcha chimed in. \u201cThe profession\u2019s ultimate privilege is to tell the truth to the American people. And here was an example of evidence of the truth being suppressed\u2026. Once the journalist profession loses that vocation \u2013 that ethical imperative \u2013 it loses its authenticity and its legitimacy.
