The heartbeat is the first sign sought in determining whether or not a human being is alive. It’s what emergency medical workers fight to find and restore first in their patients. Everyone alive, no matter the differences in our opinions or bank account balances, has a beating heart. Preborn children have beating hearts beginning at about 22 days after fertilization<\/a>. Yet, their heartbeats are written off by abortion advocates as nothing more than a simple “pulsing<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

The truth, however, can be found in the words of abortion workers and fetal tissue procurement technicians — the very people who experience the beating hearts of aborted children on a consistent basis.<\/p>\n

“You’re going to see this heart beating”<\/strong><\/p>\n

In her book, “Abortion at Work: Ideology and Practice in a Feminist Clinic,” Wendy Simonds shares a quote from an abortion worker<\/a> whom she calls “Celia.” In the quote, Celia discusses the act of causing cardiac arrest in a preborn child before dismemberment or induction abortions:<\/p>\n

You’re going to see the heart beating — little hearts, you know– and then, all of a sudden, you’re going to put this cardiac medicine in it to make it stop– to kill it. I won’t kill it, the doctor will kill it… It’s just a harder reality check of what we’re doing.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

To cause cardiac arrest, there must first be cardiac activity — a beating heart. For abortion advocates to deny this is nothing more than manipulation.<\/p>\n
