A lawsuit has been filed by a former surgical technician at an abortion clinic in Portland, Oregon. The woman, Kimberly Binnington, worked at Lovejoy Surgicenter for less than six months before quitting. She alleges that she witnessed the operating room supervisor, Evie Gradwohl, fondle unconscious patients<\/a>, and even draw a bird on one. She’s also accusing Gradwohl of exposing her breasts to clinic staff as well as other lewd and lascivious conduct.<\/p>\n

A former surgical technician with Lovejoy Surgicenter has filed a suit against the abortion clinic, saying she witnessed a supervisor fondle unconscious patients and even draw a picture of a bird on one. She also alleges the supervisor exposed her breasts to clinic staff and wore a cock ring as a bracelet.<\/p>\n

… Binnington alleges that she saw Gradwohl fondle the breasts of an unconscious patient and inappropriately touch others, and that she also observed Gradwohl making demeaning comments about patients\u2019 clothing, hygiene and bodies. The suit also says that Gradwohl drew a bird on another patient and then bragged about it on Facebook in February.<\/p>\n

Binnington, who is married, alleges that Gradwohl also tried to pressure her into having sex with a male friend of Gradwohl\u2019s named \u201cCharlie\u201d and encouraged her to build an online dating profile. The suit also alleges that Gradwhol exposed her augmented breasts to Binnington and tried to have Binnington touch them.<\/p>\n

The suit alleges another supervisor failed to do act on her concerns. Instead, Binnington says that Gradwohl grew increasingly hostile, including throwing a hanger at her.<\/p>\n

… Clinic Director Kayla Reich says that she cannot comment on the litigation, but she did confirm that Gradwohl is no longer working at Lovejoy Surgicenter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What Gradwohl is accused of is horrifying, and if the accusations are true, then Mrs. Binnington was right to come forward.<\/p>\n

The sad and scary thing, though, was that it apparently took a lawsuit for the clinic to fire Gradwohl, if they even did<\/em> fire her. For all we know, she could have quit of her own volition. Binnington says she made multiple complaints before eventually quitting, and only now is Gradwohl finally no longer employed there. What does it say when it seemingly takes a lawsuit for an abortion clinic to fire an employee who’s been accused multiple times of sexual assault and other atrocities?<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it’s the MO of your typical abortion clinic. They’ll cover up the misbehavior and crimes of their workers, even if it harms women or puts them at risk, as Live Action’s undercover investigations<\/a> have shown<\/a>.<\/p>\n
