Actor Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger (daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver), have welcomed a baby girl. An Instagram post from Pratt announced that their daughter, Lyla Maria, was born Monday, and that both mom and baby were happy and healthy. “We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt,” he wrote. “We couldn\u2019t be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed. Love Katherine and Chris.”<\/p>\n

Pratt, an outspoken Christian, also included two Bible verses with the announcement. Quoting Psalm 126:3, he wrote, “The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” He then quoted the verses Psalm 127:3-4, which are pro-child and pro-life:<\/p>\n

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.<\/em><\/p>\n
