{"id":227495,"date":"2020-07-18T15:40:59","date_gmt":"2020-07-18T20:40:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=227495"},"modified":"2021-07-14T21:23:39","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T02:23:39","slug":"pro-life-obgyn-abortion-pill-reversal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-life-obgyn-abortion-pill-reversal\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro-life OBGYN explains how abortion pill reversal is possible"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>(<a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/healthy-moms-healthy-babies-pro-life-doc-explains-abortion-pill-reversal\">Pregnancy Help News<\/a>)\u00a0An OB-GYN who has delivered almost 4,000 babies and to date been successful six out of six times in reversing the effects of the abortion pill recently explained the specifics of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionpillreversal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">abortion pill reversal<\/a> (APR), emphasizing that with a successful reversal the result is a healthy mom and a healthy baby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs the reversal of the effects of the abortion pill really possible?\u201d Dr. William Lile asked. \u201cYes!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hh6V_9UYge4&amp;feature=emb_logo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">message<\/a> from Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) for the legal non-profit\u2019s Insights series, Lile explained how abortion pills work, how the hormone progesterone functions in a woman\u2019s body, and the part the bioidentical version of progesterone plays in reversing chemical abortion.\u00a0<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hh6V_9UYge4\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The abortion pill reversal protocol has enabled pregnant moms who have begun the chemical abortion process but then regretted their decision to have a second chance at choosing life for their unborn children.<\/p>\n<p>The chemical abortion process involves two drugs, RU-486\/mifepristone\/Mifeprex, and misoprostol, taken a day or so after the first drug. The first abortion drug causes changes in a mother\u2019s body that typically result in ending the life of her unborn child, and the second drug then prompts her body to deliver her deceased child.<\/p>\n<p>APR treatment is a new application of an FDA-approved progesterone treatment used beginning in the 1950s to stop miscarriages. If it is implemented soon enough after the mom takes the first abortion drug, it may be possible to save her unborn baby.<\/p>\n<p>To date more than 1,000 lives have been saved thanks to the Abortion Pill Rescue Network (APRN), a network of some 900 rescue providers and centers that facilitate and\/or assist with the abortion pill reversal APR protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Lile, board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Alabama, and also a speaker and founder of ProLifeDoc.org, is a medical advisor to the Abortion Pill Rescue Network.<\/p>\n<p>When a woman becomes pregnant, Lile said in the video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hh6V_9UYge4&amp;feature=emb_logo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">message<\/a>, there is a hormone in her body that is called progesterone, which means pro-gestation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the hormone that behaves as the conductor of the orchestra of pregnancy,\u201d he said. \u201cIt tells the woman\u2019s body, \u201cCongratulations, you are pregnant. It is time to support this pregnancy and to protect this pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The progesterone will keep the woman from having a menstrual cycle, and will relax her uterus, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we use progesterone in normal pregnancies,\u201d said Lile. \u201cWe use it to prevent preterm labor. We use it to prevent recurrent miscarriage. It is something that is regularly used in obstetrics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"pull-right aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/images\/Progesterone-Healthy_pregnancy.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The doctor then went on to describe the abortion pill process. The first drug blocks the important progesterone hormone very effectively, he said, such that the woman\u2019s body stops functioning as though she were pregnant and begins to operate as though she were not pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>Lile then shared specifics of the APR process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe reverse that effect by supplementing the woman\u2019s body with progesterone,\u201d Lile said. \u201cThe progesterone we give the mom is bio-identical to what is made naturally by the mom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bio-identical progesterone hormone comes from yams and soybeans, said Lile, \u201cIt is as natural and as identical as it possible can be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The APR protocol can be administered up to 72 hours after a woman takes the first chemical abortion pill and is most effective if pursued in the first 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we can intervene early enough,\u201d Lile said, \u201cusually within the first 72 hours, we can actually save the life of that baby, by supplementing with progesterone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"pull-right aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/images\/APR-within_72_hours.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"312\" height=\"176\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd here\u2019s an important thing to remember,\u201d said Lile, \u201cwe have healthy moms and healthy babies after we successfully reverse the effects of the abortion pill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, when a mom has taken the first abortion pill in the protocol and she has regrets, we have a hotline,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey can call the hotline (877-558-0333), they can go to the website, abortionpillreversal.com.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will speak with a registered nurse, who has been trained,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The nurse will get all of the woman\u2019s information, find out medical history, how far along the mom is in her pregnancy, when she took the abortion medication, and then the nurse will connect the mom with a trained physician.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt works very smoothly,\u201d Lile stated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"pull-right aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/images\/APR-Contact.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"244\" height=\"137\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lile then shared an experience he\u2019d had with a patient who had driven to Jacksonville, FL, to the abortion facility there, and was given the abortion pill. After the mom had begun the chemical abortion process, she encountered some things on the way home causing her to rethink her decision.<\/p>\n<p>As the mom was driving west on Interstate-10, she saw a billboard, recounted Lile. The billboard said, \u201cA baby has a heartbeat at 18 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe thought about it, considered what was going on in her body,\u201d said Lile. \u201cShe kept driving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The mom saw another billboard on the other side of the interstate.<\/p>\n<p>This one said, \u201cYour mom chose life, so should you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was so convicted by the message from these billboards that she pulled off to the next rest area,\u201d Lile said. \u201cShe pulled off to the rest area, she Googled \u201cabortion pill antidote.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pregnant mom found the APR website, <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\">AbortionPillReversal.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI saw that patient in my office on week later. We had a heartbeat,\u201d he said. \u201cI saw that patient in my office two weeks later. We still had a heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealthy mom, healthy baby,\u201d stated Lile, \u201cand that is the reason why I am involved in the abortion pill reversal project.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, is the abortion pill able to be reversed?\u201d he asked again. \u201cYes.
