Julie Lambotte, from Hantes-Wiheries in southern Belgium, admitted to authorities that she murdered her children.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/7news.com.au\/news\/crime\/mother-accused-of-stabbing-two-children-and-drowning-a-third-in-belgium-c-1151485\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7 News in Australia<\/a>, Lambotte began her killing spree by allegedly drowning her 22-month-old daughter, Orphee, in the bathtub. She is then said to have stabbed her other two children\u2014seven-year-old Ceres and nine-year-old Thibald\u2014killing Ceres and leaving Thibald in serious but stable condition in the hospital. Lambotte told authorities she committed the crimes because she \u201cmissed her little girl,&#8221; with her violent spree taking place shortly after the three-year anniversary of her abortion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F7NewsAustralia%2Fposts%2F3928095543867276&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"487\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Lambotte was never able to process and heal from the trauma and grief of her abortion, becoming pregnant with Orphee soon afterwards. In numerous countries around the world, particularly in Europe, women with a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome or other conditions are frequently pressured to abort.<\/p>\n<p>A company which recently introduced a new prenatal screening to Nigeria openly said they hoped it would <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/nigeria-eliminate-down-syndrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lead to Down syndrome being &#8220;wiped out.&#8221;<\/a> In Iceland, this has already happened, as almost <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/iceland-isnt-eradicating-down-syndrome-it-is-killing-every-person-who-has-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">100 percent of preborn children with Down syndrome<\/a>\u00a0in the country are aborted. Women in the Netherlands have been told they have a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/outrageous-women-told-moral-duty-abort-children-down-syndrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;moral duty&#8221;<\/a> to abort their babies with Down syndrome. In the United Kingdom, 90% of women with a prenatal diagnosis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.binocar.org\/content\/annrep2013_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">have an abortion<\/a>, and similarly, in the United States, women are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.downsyndromeprenataltesting.com\/physicians-too-many-doing-down-syndrome-prenatal-testing-wrong\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">frequently pressured<\/a> to abort their children with Down syndrome.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d6GewCpuC30\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no different in Belgium, where over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepublicdiscourse.com\/2018\/07\/21996\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">90 percent of babies with Down syndrome<\/a> are aborted.<\/p>\n<p>Women frequently experience overwhelming pressure to abort, and it&#8217;s also becoming more apparent that abortion trauma is real, as <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/psychological-consequences-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the majority of the scientific literature<\/a> on the subject has revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Priscilla Coleman, a tenured full Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University, has researched abortion trauma. &#8220;An unbiased and valid synopsis of the scientific literature on increased risks associated with abortion would include depression, substance abuse, and anxiety disorders (including PTSD), as well as suicide ideation and behaviors,&#8221; she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/misinformation-and-naivety-abortion-and-mental-health-priscilla-k-coleman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote for National Review<\/a>, adding, &#8220;The literature now echoes the voices of millions of women for whom abortion was not a liberating, health-promoting choice: A conservative estimate from the best available data is 20 to 30 percent of women who undergo an abortion will experience serious and\/or prolonged negative consequences.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is too early to know if Lambotte&#8217;s abortion is indeed what led her to kill her children, but it is a sad reminder of the reality of both eugenic abortion and the abortion trauma that may follow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/liveactionnewsonline\/\">\u201cLike\u201d Live Action News on Facebook<\/a> for more pro-life news and commentary!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman who aborted\u00a0a daughter with Down syndrome has killed her born children, allegedly out of grief and guilt due to post-abortion trauma.
