The Center for Reproductive Rights and Planned Parenthood are both helping to fund the effort to legalize abortion in the pro-life nation, but to do so, they are building a case built on lies and on the bodies of murdered newborns. Women in jail for killing their own newborn babies &#8212; referred to as <a href=\"https:\/\/vidasv.org\/las17\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Las17+<\/a> &#8212; are being portrayed by the abortion-friendly media as if they suffered miscarriages or stillbirths.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, celebrities from the United States are further spreading that lie and misleading Americans into believing women are being jailed for miscarriage, when in fact, they have murdered their newborns through stabbing and strangulation.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">WARNING<\/span>: Graphic evidentiary photos below.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Padma Lakshmi<\/h4>\n<p>Well-known as the host of the cooking show Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi is also an author, actress, and model. She tweeted in 2018 that her followers needed to help free a woman named <a href=\"https:\/\/vidaelsalvador.files.wordpress.com\/2019\/08\/sentencia-imelda-isabel-cortez-palacios.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Imelda Cortez<\/a>\u00a0from prison in El Salvador. Lakshmi incorrectly stated that Cortez was in prison after suffering an obstetric emergency, but that was not the case.<\/p>\n<p><em>The truth<\/em>: Cortez is currently free, but she had been jailed for the attempted aggravated murder of her newborn daughter. According to the court, a soldier rescued Cortez&#8217;s baby from a septic tank where she had been thrown after her birth. Lime had been dropped on top of her but she was moving and crying. Last year, she tweeted her support for <a href=\"https:\/\/vidaelsalvador.files.wordpress.com\/2019\/07\/expediente-evelin-beatriz-hernc3a1ndez-cruz.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Evelyn\u00a0Beatriz Hern\u00e1ndez Cruz<\/a>, who Milano claimed had been jailed for homicide after suffering a stillbirth.<\/p>\n<p><em>The truth<\/em>: Hern\u00e1ndez Cruz was actually in prison for killing her newborn son and was freed in August 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Her newborn son was estimated to have been born <em>alive<\/em> between 38 and 40 weeks gestation. He was found dead at the bottom of a septic tank about 24 hours after birth. This was not a miscarriage or a stillbirth.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_226422\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-226422\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-226422\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Daughter-of-Evelyn-del-Carmen-Sanchez-Cabrera-700x368.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Daughter-of-Evelyn-del-Carmen-Sanchez-Cabrera.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Daughter-of-Evelyn-del-Carmen-Sanchez-Cabrera-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Daughter-of-Evelyn-del-Carmen-Sanchez-Cabrera-500x263.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-226422\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Daughter of Evelyn del Carmen S\u00e1nchez Cabrera who confessed to killing the newborn.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Other actresses, including <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mgyllenhaal\/status\/989108148966494208\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maggie Gyllenhaal<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmyBrenneman\/status\/989226231286587392\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amy Brenneman<\/a>, have also tweeted support for ending the right to life in El Salvador based on these horrific cases.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, the brutal homicides of these newborns are being used to further the pro-abortion agenda &#8212; and it isn&#8217;t just abortion organizations and misguided celebrities who are making the push. Twenty-one members of Congress signed a <a href=\"https:\/\/reproductiverights.org\/press-room\/21-members-of-congress-call-on-el-salvador-to-decriminalize-abortion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter<\/a> in 2017 calling on El Salvador to legalize abortion. In 2019, US <a href=\"https:\/\/msmagazine.com\/2019\/11\/21\/delegation-of-state-legislators-visited-el-salvador-for-fact-finding-mission-on-abortion-bans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">state lawmakers<\/a> traveled to El Salvador to throw their support behind these convicted killers. They say that if abortion were legal, these women wouldn&#8217;t be in prison for miscarriage or stillbirth. But in reality, these children died from infanticide, and as has been proven in the US, legal abortion does not stop infanticide.
