Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) led over 60 Members of Congress in sending a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/norman.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/norman-letter-to-ag-barr-on-planned-parenthood.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">letter<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to Attorney General William Barr calling for a written update on the Department of Justice\u2019s investigation into Planned Parenthood\u2019s alleged criminal activity. The letter follows a <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/2020\/05\/planned-parenthood-testimony-on-selling-baby-parts-unsealed-new-videos-released\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) on May 26 showing Planned Parenthood executives testifying under oath to selling the body parts of aborted children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to a previous Live Action News report:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>During some of the featured testimony in the video, an attorney can be heard in the background repeatedly instructing her client not to answer when asked how much money Planned Parenthood may have received from selling the body parts of aborted children. Yet invoices showed some Planned Parenthood centers receiving upwards of $10,000 in a single month, lending credence to StemExpress\u2019 advertised promises of \u201cfinancial benefit\u201d and \u201cfiscal reward\u201d for abortion facilities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PgUULMCzm8c\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The letter highlights CMP\u2019s release of the abortion corporation\u2019s sworn testimonials and asks Attorney General Barr to \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">provide a written update on the status of <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/texas-gosnell-referred-for-criminal-charges-in-congressional-investigation\/\">criminal referrals<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/congressional-panel-refers-planned-parenthood-gulf-coast-criminal-prosecution\/\">referrals<\/a> of Planned Parenthood affiliates, made by the House Select Panel on Infant Lives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/late-term-abortionist-hern-takes-full-page-ad-fetal-trafficking-investigative-panel\/\">Late-term abortionist Hern takes out full-page ad against Congressional panel<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2015, CMP released a groundbreaking investigation, including multiple <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/cmp\/investigative-footage\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">videos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> exposing senior <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood employees discussing the dismemberment and sale of preborn children aborted at its facilities. In response, both the House of Representatives and the Senate opened investigations into Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses\u2019 ties to fetal tissue procurement companies. The Select Panel\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/breaking-congressional-panel-releases-final-report-late-term-abortion-industry\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">investigation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> resulted in 15 criminal and regulatory referrals of Planned Parenthood, other abortion businesses, and fetal tissue procurement companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMP\u2019s newest <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lHh5IFXao-4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, released Tuesday, June 30, reveals Planned Parenthood staff admitting to their participation in aborted fetal tissue procurement and sale, and even to instances of infanticide.
