Yesterday, 40 Days for Life announced that there have been 341 babies saved<\/a>\u00a0from abortion as a result of the worldwide\u00a0campaign! The actual number may be higher, as these are only the ones that they are aware of! As participants in the campaign wait and pray outside abortion clinics, they are seeing lives saved.<\/p>\n

The 40 Days for Life Blog<\/a> is filled with stories from around the country and the globe of how men and women are being impacted as a result of this campaign. Here are a few of my favorites from the last couple days.<\/p>\n

In Las Vegas, Nevada<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Prayer volunteers watched as a young couple parked their car, got out \u2026 and walked right past them. \u201cThe woman appeared determined to carry through with her scheduled abortion,\u201d Ken said, \u201cbut the father of the child entered the building in tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

On their way into the building, however, they did stop to take information about the pregnancy help center just down the street.<\/p>\n

They were not inside long. Minutes later, they walked out of the abortion facility \u2014 and straight into the pregnancy help center for an ultrasound and life-affirming counseling.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe heard a short while later,\u201d Ken said, \u201cthat they are definitely keeping their baby!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Chester County, Pennsylvania<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cI just got the confirmation that one of the women who left Planned Parenthood with our free pregnancy test\/ultrasound coupon went to the pregnancy health center and has decided to keep her baby,\u201d said Paulette in Chester County.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the first baby of this campaign that we are definitely sure has been saved,\u201d she said. \u201cWe are all so blessed in Chester County\u2019s 40 Days for Life.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Austin, Texas<\/a>, participants were encourage to keep standing for truth by a father responsible for three abortions:<\/p>\n

Vigil participants often see a man walking his dog on the sidewalk near the vigil. One day, one of the volunteers simply said, \u201cGood morning!\u201d<\/p>\n

The man walked down the street a bit, but then turned around and walked over. \u201cI want to tell you something,\u201d he said. \u201cI know that I\u2019m responsible for three of them\u201d \u2013 abortions \u2013 \u201cand your sign that says \u2018men regret lost fatherhood\u2019 is exactly right. I do regret it \u2026 and I want you to know I support what you\u2019re doing here.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
