Gynuity Health Projects, a research organization conducting clinical trials aimed at expanding access to the abortion pill and overturning the Food and Drug Administration\u2019s safety requirements, is<\/span> funded<\/span><\/a> by organizations with deep historic ties to the American eugenics<\/a> movement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gynuity’s <\/span>donor list<\/span><\/a> includes organizations like the\u00a0<\/span>Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation<\/span><\/a>, Planned Parenthood, the Population Council, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Society for Family Planning, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Tara Health Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the <\/span>David and Lucile Packard Foundation<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1996, the Packard Foundation\u00a0<\/span>seeded<\/span><\/a> the pill’s manufacturer, <\/span>Danco Laboratories<\/span><\/a>, Inc., with <\/span>$14.2 million<\/span><\/a> during the early stages of the FDA approval process for the abortion pill, then known as \u201cRU-486.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Packard<\/span><\/a> is now <\/span>investing<\/span><\/a> millions in <\/span>GenBioPro<\/span><\/a>, Inc., a <\/span>company<\/span><\/a> the FDA <\/span>approved in 2019<\/span><\/a> to manufacture a generic version of the abortion pill.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gynuity also receives grants from the <\/span>Buffett Foundation<\/span><\/a>\u2014another <\/span>Danco funder<\/span><\/a> which <\/span>gave<\/span><\/a> at least $2 million in interest-free loans to the Population Council to conduct clinical trials in the 1990s for the abortion pill\u2019s FDA approval. The <\/span>Population Council<\/span><\/a> is ultimately responsible for bringing the abortion pill into the U.S. for FDA approval, and for establishing Danco as its commercial arm to manufacture and distribute the lethal drug to U.S. consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1952, John D. Rockefeller III\u00a0<\/span>founded<\/span><\/a> the Population Council and served as its first president. The Population Council was <\/span>incorporated<\/span><\/a> following <\/span>Rockefeller\u2019s Conference on Population Problems<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> and its sole focus since that time has been to promote \u201cfamily planning\u201d in various countries and to develop hormonal contraception.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gynuity’s Founder<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Live Action News recently reported<\/a> that Gynuity’s President and founder,\u00a0Beverly Winikoff,<\/a> M.D., once credited the September 11 attacks with “saving” the abortion pill<\/span>\u00a0by dominating the news cycle shortly after the first abortion pill death in Canada was publicized. <\/span><\/p>\n

Winikoff has been involved with abortion pill research and advocacy for decades. She\u00a0<\/span>previously <\/span>served as<\/span><\/a> Assistant Director for Health Sciences at the Rockefeller Foundation which, <\/span>according<\/span><\/a> to author <\/span>Edwin Black<\/span><\/a>, \u201chelped found the German eugenics program and even funded the program that Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Winikoff once worked for the Population Council as well, serving as Director of the Council\u2019s Reproductive Health Program, during the time the Population Council was conducting clinical trials for the abortion pill.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winikoff is also on the\u00a0<\/span>board<\/span><\/a> of Population Services International, co-founded by<\/span> Philip Harvey<\/span><\/a> of DKT International, which sells abortion pills worldwide. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is one of DKT International’s major\u00a0<\/span>funders<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and Bill Gates’ father<\/a> once served as a board member of Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

Between <\/span>2008<\/span><\/a> and\u00a0<\/span>2014<\/span><\/a>, Winikoff served on the board of the Society of Family Planning, which was <\/span>founded<\/span><\/a> in 2005 with a \u201cgenerous contribution\u201d from the Packard Foundation. In 2016, the Buffett Foundation <\/span>gave<\/span><\/a> the Society of Family Planning over $8 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winikoff once\u00a0called<\/a> the abortion pill a “world shaking” technological advancement. <\/span>“I feel like people must have felt when they discovered the nuclear bomb,” she said. The dark irony of comparing the abortion pill to the most lethal weapon of war ever invented seems to be lost on Winikoff.<\/span><\/p>\n

But perhaps this perverse mentality is not so surprising when one considers that expanding access to abortion is driven by the goals of eugenics and social engineering.<\/p>\n
