Pritzker&#8217;s COVID-19 lockdown orders in Illinois, abortion facilities have largely continued operations, leaving an opportunity for injuries to occur. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/closings-planned-parenthood-abort-children-pandemic\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> center in Aurora is one of the facilities still in operation, and according to\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-hospitalizes-botched-abortion-patient-while-exempt-from-statewide-covid-19-restrictions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">911 records<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> given to Operation Rescue by the Pro-Life Action League, a woman was injured there. The facility was reportedly overcrowded with people, far beyond the recommended social distancing guidelines, and on the same day, an ambulance had to be called after a botched surgical abortion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-hospitalizes-botched-abortion-patient-while-exempt-from-statewide-covid-19-restrictions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">woman<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is said to have suffered excessive bleeding after undergoing an abortion procedure at the Planned Parenthood facility on April 22 and required emergency transport to Rush Copley Medical Center. Ironically, the medical center has been forced to halt elective surgeries due to COVID-19, yet Planned Parenthood has been allowed to continue abortions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PtQLeWzwofw\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s irrational that the hospital was barred from conducting elective surgical procedures, while abortion facilities are allowed to do elective surgical abortions without so much as a limit on the number of people in the facility,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-hospitalizes-botched-abortion-patient-while-exempt-from-statewide-covid-19-restrictions\/\">said<\/a> Operation Rescue president Troy Newman<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u201cAbortion facilities are treated as if they are more important than hospitals or anything else. Businesses and churches were forced to close, but abortion facilities remain open with the blessing of Democrat Gov. Pritzker.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Illinois has continued to place <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/coronavirus\/ct-cb-pritzker-plan-reopen-illinois-20200506-erfvitdovffmzd7ativx4hj57q-htmlstory.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">restrictions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on essential gatherings, only permitting 10 people or less to occupy a single space. All non-essential gatherings have been prohibited under the state\u2019s COVID-19 guidelines.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rushcopley.com\/patient\/visitation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rush Copley Medical Center<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has had to comply with these regulations. Along with suspending elective procedures, the hospital has placed restrictions on the number of people who are allowed to gather in particular areas of the facility at the same time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/injured-abortion-illinois-missouri-coronavirus\/\">Woman injured in abortion taken from Illinois to Missouri hospital amid coronavirus pandemic<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood does not appear to be operating under the same standards. On the day of the emergency, their center in Aurora had at least 20 people inside, which is far beyond the current legal limit for gatherings in the state of Illinois. While the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-hospitalizes-botched-abortion-patient-while-exempt-from-statewide-covid-19-restrictions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0staff member who called 911 after the patient began hemorrhaging confirmed the facility was screening for COVID-19 symptoms, the staff member did not indicate what precautions were being taken against the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/hcp\/faq.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">asymptomatic spread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the virus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis shows that abortions at Planned Parenthood are the most important thing there is in Illinois right now. If the lockdowns were really about saving lives, Planned Parenthood would have been one of the first businesses forced to close,\u201d Newman <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/planned-parenthood-hospitalizes-botched-abortion-patient-while-exempt-from-statewide-covid-19-restrictions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stated<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Planned Parenthood in Aurora is no stranger to emergencies. In\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/clinics\/planned-parenthood-aurora-health-center\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">numerous cases<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ambulances have been called for patients suffering from excessive bleeding after an abortion. It seems fitting for this center to be breaking current COVID-19 laws, as\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/clinics\/planned-parenthood-aurora-health-center\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">it was constructed under false pretenses<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, at the expense of taxpayer dollars.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition, a new Planned Parenthood center opened in Illinois this week, while state citizens remain under stay-at-home orders until at least May 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/liveactionnewsonline\/\">\u201cLike\u201d Live Action News on Facebook<\/a>\u00a0for more pro-life news and commentary!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Despite Governor J.B.
