A new Planned Parenthood set to open in Luverne, Minnesota, just had its lease terminated before it even opened its doors. It had planned to commit telemedicine abortions using the abortion pill at the location.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Brian Gibson, the executive director of Pro-Life Action Ministries in the state, shared on Facebook<\/a> a message he received from the office of the local mayor, stating that it was believed that the lease had been terminated. On Monday, the news was confirmed, as Gibson wrote<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Victory in Luverne<\/em><\/p>\n

We are no confident that Planned Parenthood of North Central States (PPNCS) will not open shop for telemed chemical abortions in Luverne, Minnesota. The very good people of Luverne stepped up quickly and placed enough pressure on owners of the building that the lease with PPNCS was ‘terminated.’ The building owner was quoted in a local newspaper, ‘Planned Parenthood has never operated in our building, isn’t now and won’t in the future.’<\/em><\/p>\n
