The abortion industry is attempting to use a pandemic to expand the availability of the abortion pill through telemedicine. As the U.S. loosens restrictions on the use of telemedicine<\/a>, the abortion industry is pouncing on ways<\/a> they can capitalize off the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis to push for the FDA to lift their\u00a0REMS<\/a> safety requirements and expand use of the abortion pill.<\/p>\n

This effort must be stopped.<\/p>\n

Currently, under REMS (an acronym for Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy)<\/span>, the abortion pill can only be dispensed by a clinician in an approved hospital or clinic. Leading the charge to change this is abortionist\u00a0Dr. Daniel Grossman<\/a> and other abortion proponents with ties to abortion pill manufacturer DANCO Laboratories<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grossman is on\u00a0staff<\/a>\u00a0as\u00a0Senior Advisor<\/a>\u00a0at Ibis Reproductive Health, which is directly <\/span>funded<\/a> by abortion investor the Packard Foundation, and as recently as January 2020 was also funded<\/a> by the abortion pill manufacturer itself.<\/p>\n

There is a massive<\/strong> financial conflict of interest at play here. And, of course, using a pandemic to push for even more<\/em> death is simply horrific in and of itself.<\/p>\n

The call for telemedicine abortion is a smokescreen driven by many with a connection to the abortion pill manufacturer DANCO<\/a>\u00a0or its investors. Some states allow<\/a> patients seeking the abortion pill to access it via telemedicine at the clinic, which enables one abortionist to pass out the deadly pills virtually at several locations — a profitable move for the abortion industry.<\/p>\n

But what’s really going on here is an effort to lift the FDA’s REMS through a back door — because many doctors are\u00a0unwilling<\/a> to provide or stock these deadly pills. Lifting REMS would enable the abortion pill to be sold online as TelAbortion<\/a> or shipped into pharmacies<\/a>. It also raises the possibility of transforming average working people into \u2018abortion providers\u2019 of sorts. Pharmacists, postal carriers, parcel delivery drivers, schools, and questionable online websites could someday soon find themselves unwittingly participating in the killing of preborn children.<\/p>\n

Live Action News has documented<\/a> multiple ways the abortion lobby has been working to expand use of the abortion pill. In addition to legal efforts,\u00a0there are also outside groups such as Aid Access<\/a> defying<\/a> the FDA’s warning letter to cease selling<\/a> pills to women inside the U.S., and so far, it\u00a0appears<\/a>\u00a0the FDA is doing little to stop it. To date, the pro-abortion media has been\u00a0complicit<\/a> in protecting<\/a> these illegal “self-managed abortion” websites, playing Russian roulette<\/a> with women’s lives.<\/p>\n
