Planned Parenthood, the country’s largest abortion corporation<\/a> is continuing to close more of its facilities than it is opening, according to a new report from American Life League (ALL). But while the number of the abortion giant’s facilities continue to decrease, they still operate the majority of abortion facilities in the country. The 2019 Planned Parenthood Facilities Report<\/a> shows that despite the corporation’s minor reduction in facilities, the increased focus on abortion was dramatic.<\/p>\n

Fewer facilities, but more abortion<\/h4>\n

As of the end of 2019, there were 587 Planned Parenthood facilities in the United States. That number includes 13 closures, while 10 new facilities opened. Facilities closed in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas; new facilities opened<\/em>, however, in California, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, and Wisconsin. The number of patients they see has likewise been steadily declining, falling from 3.14 million in 2006 to 2.4 million in 2019.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood’s number of facilities that commit abortions<\/a>, either medication or surgical, increased by 18. The corporation also opened three new mega-centers, for a total of 29 around the country, which can see more than triple the number of patients that a typical abortion facility sees each year.<\/p>\n
