A UK abortion pill website appears willing to ship drugs to women inside the U.S. without a doctor’s prescription. Live Action News has been exposing<\/a> the slow or lax efforts by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to crack down on these dangerous websites offering abortion pills outside FDA safety regulations. The latest example comes from the website SafeAbortionRX<\/em>, which has a prescription policy stating<\/a>, “Our products are prescription drugs and we strictly DO NOT dispense them without a healthcare professional\u2019s advice slip or prescription.” Yet, later in the same page they add, “If you feel that the medication is an urgent necessity for you and do not have a prescription, please contact our healthcare experts on the live chat or support team.”<\/p>\n

In response, Live Action News set out to see what happens if a non-prescription request is made… and immediately learned that these abortion pills are shipped into the US from the UK. Note: No pills were actually ordered. Ordering from a website like this one is illegal and we advise women to avoid them.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I repeatedly asked about safety, and when “Casey” was given a gestational age of 5-6 weeks pregnant, “Casey” replied, “This is to inform you that the MTP Kit is eligible only up to 11 weeks of gestational age and its 100% safe and effective. If you are less than 5 weeks pregnant you need to take 1 MTP KIT (Abortion Pill), whereas if you are more than 5 weeks pregnant, we recommend you to buy 2 MTP KIT (Abortion Pill), for emergency purpose, although one kit is required.”<\/p>\n

When asked what comprises a MTP kit, “Casey” responded, “mtp kit 1 Tablet of Mifepristone (200mg) and 4 tablets of Misoprostol (200mcg each).”<\/p>\n

Mifepristone is the abortion pill, and is regulated by the FDA within the U.S. and dispensed by the manufacturer,\u00a0DANCO Laboratories.<\/a>\u00a0DANCO is a highly secretive<\/a> company set up by the eugenics-based Population Council<\/a>. DANCO was originally funded<\/a> in part by the Packard and Buffett Foundations.<\/p>\n

Again, these are drugs to be obtained only by a legal prescription<\/em>. The group’s website clearly states<\/a>, “The MTP kit contains the two prescribed drugs for medical abortion, Mifepristone and Misoprostol. These drugs have been proven highly efficient and are endorsed by women in many parts of the world. The MTP kit can be used at home with minimal clinical supervision<\/strong> for effective termination of an early-detected pregnancy.”<\/p>\n

I then asked if I needed to see a doctor, to which Casey responded, “maam you need to check with dr you are pregnant or not.” When asked if we needed to send them a prescription, the answer was, “maam need dr prescription.”<\/p>\n

So, I posed this question: “Why does website say, “If you feel that the medication is an urgent necessity for you and do not have a prescription, please contact our healthcare experts on the live chat or support team.” And “Casey” responded:<\/p>\n

Since you are buying the product without a prescription letter, kindly do not mention the products name anywhere in PayPal, bcoz PayPal not allowed any drug order, in case if you mention it we cannot accept your order and as a consequence PayPal will take legal action against both the parties.<\/em><\/p>\n
