On Christmas Day of 2018, I saw two lines show up on a pregnancy test. A million emotions came over me at once, but the strongest one was fear.<\/p>\n<p>I was only 16, a junior in high school, and my boyfriend was a senior. <em>How am I going to finish school? What will my parents say? What will my friends think?<\/em> All these thoughts flooded my head as the fear remained present.<\/p>\n<p>When I finally got up the courage, I told my boyfriend. \u201cI&#8217;m pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His first reaction was, \u201cWe can&#8217;t do this. You need to have an abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was also very scared. I knew that was what he wanted me to do, and I felt pressured to just go ahead with abortion because I didn&#8217;t want to ruin his life or mine. <em>How would we finish school? How would we provide for a baby?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U0IUz_gVEEc\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I knew abortion was ending a pregnancy, but I really didn&#8217;t know how that was done. I decided to do some research before I made any decisions.\u00a0After searching on YouTube about abortion procedures, I came across Live Action&#8217;s video where former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino goes into detail on what really happens during an abortion. It showed how the child was barbarically torn from his mother&#8217;s womb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CFZDhM5Gwhk\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The video terrified me and opened my eyes to the truth. I had no idea that was what abortion really looked like. I couldn&#8217;t believe that people did that to their babies, and after seeing that I certainly wasn&#8217;t going to do that to mine. I felt I couldn&#8217;t go out without being judged. But all that hardship was forgotten the day I had my son. The moment he was born and I heard his cry I sobbed uncontrollably with joy. I looked into his eyes for the first time and I saw a glimpse of God.<\/p>\n<p>He was and is a precious gift who brings so much joy to my life and to his father&#8217;s life. We love him with all our hearts and feel so blessed to have him as our son. His smile and laughter light up a room and he wouldn&#8217;t be here today if I had not seen Live Action&#8217;s video. I am eternally grateful for what they do.
