The hardcover book starts by valuing the reader with phrases like, “Your life is important,” “You’re one of a kind,” and, “There’s only one you.” This life-affirming theme permeates the entire story as author Bethany Bomberger<\/a>, co-founder of The Radiance Foundation<\/a>, shows children that every person is created to be unique and that all lives were created equal and with a purpose. The book goes on to point out how slavery and the Holocaust were times when people weren’t treated with love or equality, and relates those instances with the current human rights violation of abortion.
