As if pro-abortion propaganda isn\u2019t shoved down our throats enough, it was announced Tuesday that actress, director, and producer Elizabeth Banks will head the newly established Creative Council at the pro-abortion Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR).<\/p>\n

According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>,<\/em> Banks hopes the Creative Council, which will be made up of women in Hollywood and the fashion industry, \u201ccan help destigmatize abortion<\/strong> by sharing and supporting women’s stories.\u201d<\/p>\n

She wants stars to use their platforms to educate and advocate for the CRR and to \u201cadd reproductive rights stories to the work that they’re already doing<\/strong>.”\u00a0“There’s a real power to having people who have platforms be able to elevate the critical role that the Center is playing in protecting our freedoms,\u201d Banks stated.<\/p>\n

Acknowledging the role of Hollywood in propagandizing viewers, Banks told THR<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Reproductive rights in media is a really important tool<\/strong> for keeping the issues that we are all facing at the forefront \u2026 there\u2019s such an interesting dialogue to be had about how abortion care is part of <\/strong>a larger package of reproductive care that is also about creating wonderful families and access to family care.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Echoing Banks, CRR President and CEO Nancy Northup said in a statement: They are \u201cproud to partner with these powerful artists” and “know the impact these artists can have in advocating for change and reaching new audiences to raise awareness about reproductive rights issues.”<\/p>\n

For Banks\u2019 part, she believes that equality of the sexes can only be achieved through abortion:<\/p>\n

I believe that women’s equality begins with our fundamental human rights over bodily autonomy. So I feel like this is baseline for female equality in the world<\/strong>, deciding when and with whom to have children.<\/em><\/p>\n

Banks held up Shrill<\/em>, the Hulu show she was executive producer of, \u201cas an example of how creative projects can advance the conversation.\u201d The show\u2019s main character (played by Saturday Night Live\u2019s<\/em> Aidy Bryant) infamously said she felt \u201creally, really good,\u201d \u201cvery f**king powerful<\/a>\u201d after her abortion.<\/p>\n

READ:\u00a0Planned Parenthood has influenced more than 150 films and shows since 2014<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

THR<\/em> reported Banks \u201cwants to make the Center as much of a household name as Planned Parenthood<\/strong>, because when clinics are \u2018under attack,\u2019 the Center swoops in to keep \u2018abortion as the law of the land.\u2019” Planned Parenthood is already working with Hollywood<\/a> to wedge in abortion stories<\/a> and it’s agenda<\/a>has been<\/a> prominent<\/a> on TV<\/a> for years<\/a>. It’s hard to imagine adding even more abortion propaganda on screen.<\/p>\n

In just the last three weeks, NewsBusters\u2019s On TV Blog<\/a> counted 5 shows that included abortion storylines over 11 episodes<\/strong>. Empire<\/em> on Fox attacked Christians<\/a> and pro-lifers<\/a> over abortion in two episodes, Insatiable<\/em> on Netflix pushed co-star Alyssa Milano\u2019s pro-abortion talking points<\/a> in two episodes, and Law & Order: SVU<\/em> on NBC defended a 13-year-old\u2019s right to abortion and attacked heartbeat bills<\/a> in one episode. Meanwhile, New Amsterdam<\/em> on NBC has had two separate abortion<\/a> plots<\/a>over three episodes, with one still unresolved and last night\u2019s (Tuesday) involving a patient with Down syndrome having an abortion set to gospel music<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One bright spot has been Bull<\/em> on CBS which has actually powerfully shown the pro-life side<\/a> with a father trying to help his daughter choose life<\/a> over the last three episodes, but we fear this story will still end in the father supporting his daughter through her abortion.<\/p>\n

Hollywood LOVES celebrating abortion<\/a>; founding members of the CRR Creative Council from Tinseltown include actress Busy Philipps who used her own abortion<\/a> to rail against Georgia\u2019s heartbeat bill, How to Get Away With Murder<\/em> (note the irony of that title!) co-star Aja Naomi King, actress and producer Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy<\/em>), and actress and producer Lisa Edelstein (The Kominsky Method<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Now, back to your regularly scheduled abortion programming\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n
