Live Action News has <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/twitter-says-yes-no-ads-live-action\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously<\/a> documented Twitter&#8217;s double standard, banning Live Action from advertising while permitting pro-abortion groups like EMILY&#8217;s List, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and Planned Parenthood to purchase ads that push a pro-abortion message. Adding to that, a relatively new group called <a href=\"https:\/\/equityfwd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Equity Forward<\/a>\u00a0has recently been allowed to unleash a litany of promoted Twitter ads attacking pro-life groups such as the Susan B. to <a href=\"https:\/\/equityfwd.org\/what-we-do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ensure<\/a> &#8220;transparency and accountability among anti-reproductive health groups and individuals who are actively working to deny people access to services such as birth control and abortion.&#8221; However, they currently <a href=\"https:\/\/equityfwd.org\/who-we-are\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">list<\/a> only one staffer &#8212; Senior Adviser <a href=\"https:\/\/equityfwd.org\/mary-alice-carter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mary Alice Carter<\/a>\u00a0&#8212; states on her <a href=\"https:\/\/mollylbangs.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog<\/a> that she has &#8220;held internships at the Rockefeller Foundation and the Aspen Institute.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Alexa Barrett &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alexa-barrett-4a9261b1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">former<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;program coordinator&#8221; for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kyle-herrig\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Board Chair<\/a> Kyle Herrig &#8220;co-founded and currently advises several accountability organizations, including Allied Progress, Equity Forward and Fix the Court,&#8221; according to an <a href=\"https:\/\/restorepublictrust.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online bio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The group&#8217;s first campaign roll-out was called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/equityfwd.org\/hhs-watch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HHS Watch<\/a>&#8221; because, as it wrote online, &#8220;the Trump administration has quietly filled key posts overseeing Title X who appear to have been chosen based on ideology rather than applicable government experience. &#8220;dangerous&#8221; and &#8220;toxic.&#8221; They refer to pro-life legislative efforts as a &#8220;coordinated attack on women&#8217;s health care,&#8221; smearing pro-life groups by referring to them as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/ads.twitter.com\/transparency\/EquityForward\/tweet\/1183593017824825345\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pro-Lies<\/a>.&#8221; Equity Forward also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ads.twitter.com\/transparency\/EquityForward\/tweet\/1183593017841725441\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claims<\/a>\u00a0in their promoted tweets that these pro-life groups consist of a &#8220;network of organizations and individuals that stokes fear with inflammatory lies&#8221; and others.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action and Lila Rose have been <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/live-action-releases-e-mails-showing-twitter-asking-group-to-delete-pro-life-content-and-tweets-about-defunding-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">banned<\/a> from running ads unless the the Live Action website is purged of certain content with even innocuous tweets deleted &#8212; some that show images of babies in the womb. A Twitter spokesperson previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/business\/economy\/twitter-wont-run-an-anti-abortion-groups-paid-advertising-unless-it-scrubs-its-website-of-sensitive-content\/2017\/09\/22\/d914fc8a-9ecb-11e7-9083-fbfddf6804c2_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the Washington Post that Twitter&#8217;s &#8220;extensive advertising policy states that ads must be honest and accurate. In January of that same year, Pregnancy Help News <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/ex-planned-parenthood-vp-launches-new-effort-to-slam-pro-life-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that a person claiming to be a private investigator on behalf of Equity Forward had contacted at least two former pro-life pregnancy center staffers; the reason for the contact was not divulged.<\/p>\n<p>Pregnancy Help News wrote:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Monday evening, a licensed private investigator named Jane Ebert called and left a message on the personal cell phone of a former pregnancy center employee who now works full-time with\u00a0a national pro-life group. In her message, obtained by Pregnancy Help News, Ebert said she was working on an investigation on behalf of Equity Forward. The message caught the former pregnancy center staffer\u00a0off-guard, so she did a little digging into Equity Forward. She also reached out to her former colleagues at the pregnancy center and confirmed that Ebert hadn\u2019t contacted any of them. Ebert also contacted a\u00a0former pregnancy center employee in another state the same day, Pregnancy Help News learned Friday afternoon. As of Friday, Ebert had not returned a call or email from Pregnancy Help News.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Equity Forward may have a reason to target pro-life centers which may be causing abortion facilities to lose money by offering free services that help pregnant women. After all,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/opencorporates.com\/companies\/us_dc\/EXTUID_4152605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Equity Forward<\/a> is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/forum\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=footer#!msg\/jobsthatareleft\/Gp4Ir0VXFws\/szy5iUACBQAJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">project<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hopewellfund.org\/about-the-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hopewell Fund<\/a>, which has taken an interest in a <a href=\"https:\/\/nonprofitquarterly.org\/the-motivations-and-vision-for-one-nonprofit-news-startup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">non-profit media start-up<\/a> and is also financially supporting abortion facilities through an &#8220;Abortion Delivery\u2019s Business Sustainability Project,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/hewlett.org\/grants\/hopewell-fund-for-support-of-the-resources-for-abortion-deliverys-business-sustainability-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">financed<\/a> in part by these abortion supporting organizations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hewlett.org\/grants\/hopewell-fund-for-the-economic-security-projects-bold-v-old-gathering-focused-on-an-economy-that-works-for-all\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">William and Flora Hewlett Foundation<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.packard.org\/grants-and-investments\/grants-database\/hopewell-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Packard
