A practice bulletin on “early pregnancy loss” published<\/a> by the pro-abortion American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) reiterates the fact that a heartbeat is a sign of life for the preborn child in the womb.\u00a0Due to successful pro-life legislation which prohibits abortion once a preborn child’s heartbeat can be detected, abortion advocates like ACOG and the media have attempted to convince<\/a> the public that the embryo doesn’t have a heartbeat. Instead, they\u00a0insist<\/a>, as a previous article noted, that we use the term \u201cfetal pole cardiac activity<\/a>\u201d instead of \u201cheartbeat.\u201d They describe the embryo’s heart as \u201c’pulsing cells’<\/a>\u00a0or\u2013more ridiculously\u2013’vibrations….'”<\/p>\n

Yet interestingly, the ACOG\u00a0bulletin<\/a>\u00a0defines “early pregnancy loss” as “a nonviable, intrauterine pregnancy with either an empty gestational sac or a gestational sac containing an embryo or fetus without fetal heart activity<\/strong>…” very early in pregnancy. In other words, the ACOG states that one of the ways to determine “early pregnancy loss” is by the presence of a preborn child with no heartbeat<\/em>. If there is no such thing as a heart, heartbeat, or heart activity, then how can the absence<\/em> of that thing determine pregnancy loss?<\/p>\n

ACOG has been\u00a0funded<\/a>\u00a0by Ibis Reproductive Health\u00a0as well as\u00a0the Buffett Foundation (2016<\/a>) which\u00a0invested<\/a>\u00a0in abortion pill manufacturer\u00a0DANCO Laboratories<\/a>. Ibis\u00a0receives\u00a0direct funding<\/a>\u00a0from DANCO.<\/a><\/p>\n
