After ousting Wen, an emergency room physician, Planned Parenthood appointed another political organizer as its interim president.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-212566\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/leana-wen-tweet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/leana-wen-tweet.jpg 520w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/leana-wen-tweet-300x136.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/leana-wen-tweet-500x227.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And some people &#8212; like Shout Your Abortion founder Amelia Bonow &#8212; were unhappy about Wen&#8217;s tweet (<strong>warning<\/strong>: profanity), and wondered why she ever worked for Planned Parenthood in the first place. Even Bonow unwittingly puts forth the idea that everyone knows Planned Parenthood is <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-abortion-abortion\/\">all about abortion<\/a>.
