The Planned Parenthood v. The Center for Medical Progress<\/em> (CMP) civil trial continued on Thursday, October 10, with pro-life activist Albin Rhomberg taking the stand along with Melissa Fowler, VP of External Affairs for the National Abortion Federation (NAF), and Planned Parenthood Pacific Southwests’s associate medical director Dr. Thomas Moran.<\/p>\n

According to CMP<\/a>, Rhomberg testified that he was aware of the 20\/20 investigative report from 2000 in which ABC’s Chris Wallace and Connie Chung reported on Dr. Miles Jones who was caught bragging about the money he made off of fetal tissue. Rhomberg understood that David Daleiden and CMP were taking over where 20\/20 left off. Jones had never appeared at the congressional hearing regarding the matter and no further investigating into the sales of fetal body parts was done.<\/p>\n

Rhomberg said he never went undercover with CMP and never used an alias. He also stated that he did not know Daleiden’s false name of Robert Sarkis.<\/p>\n

Fowler took the stand and told the court that there were extensive measures in place at NAF in order to vet exhibitors to prevent pro-lifer individuals from “infiltrating” NAF meetings. But then she admitted that NAF only performed a Google search of CMP’s fake company BioMax and spoke with BioMax representatives before allowing them to attend the conference. She acknowledged that it is still the case that NAF does not confirm whether or not potential visitors are pro-choice.<\/p>\n

According to CMP, Fowler also admitted that NAF’s trade show contracts don’t include Planned Parenthood despite the fact that Planned Parenthood is trying to sue CMP as a “third-party beneficiary” to those contracts. Those who signed the contracts were never told anything about Planned Parenthood or even that the abortion corporation would be in attendance.<\/p>\n

Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of Pro-Life San Francisco, told Live Action News that there were 43 missing agreements for the 2014 NAF conference and 31 for the 2015 conference. Fowler claimed they had been lost but that she also had no “personal knowledge of them being signed.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Moran of Planned Parenthood Pacific Southwest took the stand and was asked about Planned Parenthood’s part in supplying fetal body parts from aborted children to Advanced Bioscience Resources. When asked by the defense, “… as a result of abortions that would be performed there, including abortions you did, [ABR] would sometimes place a demand for certain organs; correct?” Moran replied: “That was certainly my understanding, yeah.”<\/p>\n

This implies that orders were being placed for certain fetal organs, similar to how StemExpress has a dropdown menu order form on their website. Planned Parenthood’s former director of medical services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola was caught on camera<\/a> saying that she would alter abortion procedures in order to obtain the in-demand body parts.<\/p>\n
