When thousands of bodies of aborted babies<\/a> were discovered in former abortionist Ulrich Klopfer’s home, it sent shockwaves across the country. Klopfer, who died early this month, had quite a checkered history; he had a failure to report abuse<\/a>, did not report underage abortions<\/a>, and kept his facility in unsafe conditions<\/a>. He ultimately lost his medical license in 2015, but before that, he committed abortions in South Bend, Indiana — where presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is mayor. Many people were eager to hear Buttigieg’s response, but he initially remained quiet<\/a>, until now.<\/p>\n

Buttigieg finally broke his silence about the issue, but his flippant response<\/a> left much to be desired for many, especially considering that he made sure to include some pro-abortion talking points.<\/p>\n

“Like everyone, I find that news out of Illinois extremely disturbing, and I think it\u2019s important that that be fully investigated,\u201d he said. \u201cI also hope it doesn\u2019t get caught up in politics at a time when women need access to health care. There\u2019s no question that what happened is disturbing. It\u2019s unacceptable. And it needs to be looked into fully.\u201d<\/p>\n

Buttigieg’s background lends a hint as to why he seems so undisturbed by this news; he has championed Whole Woman’s Health<\/a>, an abortion facility which, in South Bend, remains unlicensed<\/em> after the health department refused their application, and nationwide, has a history of health and safety violations<\/a>. For the Whole Woman’s Health facility in Buttigieg’s town of South Bend, the administrator on the original application was none other than Liam Morley<\/a>, who originally worked for Klopfer.<\/p>\n

Now, on the heels of this grisly news in Buttigieg’s backyard, he has announced that he will be going on a cross-country bus tour with pro-abortion group Supermajority — founded by none other than Cecile Richards, former Planned Parenthood president and CEO.<\/p>\n

As Live Action News author Carole Novielli pointed out on Twitter, this is the height of hypocrisy. “When 2K aborted babies [were] found in [the] home of Indiana abortionist @PeteButtigieg didn’t want it\u00a0‘caught up in politics,'” she wrote<\/a>. “Yet he appears [with] Planned Parenthood’s former prez to ‘encode abortion’ and refers to HHS Rule as ‘gag order?’ Who is [the] one being political?”<\/p>\n

This kind of reaction to the Klopfer horror, as well as his decision to go on a cross-country tour with a noted abortion extremist, is not entirely surprising. Buttigieg is a dedicated abortion supporter, opposing any restrictions on abortion — even late-term abortion<\/a>. While this makes him right at home among his fellow Democratic presidential candidates<\/a>, it makes him incredibly out of touch with the American people. Just 12 percent<\/a>\u00a0of Americans support unrestricted abortion on demand, at any time, for any reason, with taxpayer funding. Yet the pro-abortion extremism holds firm.<\/p>\n

Given this, it’s no wonder that Buttigieg turned a horrific discovery from an abortionist into a reminder to keep supporting abortion.<\/p>\n
