If there’s one thing Planned Parenthood has, it’s a good public relations machine — and this includes the media. Mainstream media has been busy painting Planned Parenthood as the victim for its corporate decision to voluntarily exit the Title X Family Planning Program because Planned Parenthood refused to separate its abortion<\/a>\u00a0business from taxpayer-funded services. The media<\/a> has done<\/a> a good job<\/a>\u00a0of protecting<\/a> the nation’s most profitable abortion provider, despite the corporation’s many scandals<\/a> and abuses<\/a>, which should have resulted in all tax dollars being pulled long ago. These scandals are laid out in detail below, and some of them are jaw-dropping.<\/p>\n

1. Failure to report child sexual abuse<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood<\/a> and others in the abortion industry fail to protect children<\/a> by not following<\/a> mandatory reporting laws.\u00a0 As an entity which received the federal Title X funds as well as millions of additional taxpayer dollars<\/a> through Medicaid and other government programs, Planned Parenthood should<\/em> be held to the highest standards. Instead, time and again, actual criminal cases<\/a> have indicated that Planned Parenthood ignores<\/a> obvious red flags of abuse<\/a> and fails to report<\/a> the suspicion of abuse — specifically child sexual abuse. A\u00a0March 2016 report<\/a> by the\u00a0Congressional Research Service<\/a>\u00a0makes it clear that reporting even the suspicion<\/em> of child sexual abuse<\/a> is expected of Title X providers. The report stated, \u201cAlthough minors are to receive confidential services,\u00a0Title X providers are not exempt from state notification and reporting laws on child abuse, child molestation, sexual abuse, rape, or incest.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
