UPDATE, 7\/1\/19<\/strong>: According to the New York Times<\/a>, more than 700 people have offered to adopt baby India since she was found on June 6. In addition, 200 families were already on the waiting list to adopt in the state. India is currently in a temporary home. Tom Rawlings, director of the state’s Division of Family’s and Children Services, said she is a “precious, beautiful” baby, who “likes being held,” is “smiling a lot,” and is “actually doing really well.”<\/p>\n

6\/25\/19<\/strong>: Live Action News previously reported<\/a> on a story about a newborn baby girl’s rescue from a plastic grocery bag on June 6, 2019, in rural Forsyth County, Georgia. Law enforcement has now released video from the rescuing officer’s body camera in the hope of learning the identity of the baby girl, whom officials refer to as “India.”\u00a0The baby girl was found after neighbors heard her crying, and is said to be in good health. Fox5 Atlanta reported<\/a> on the amazing video.<\/p>\n
