Moments of Joy Podcast’s Camille Joy shared an amazing pro-life victory story on Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, highlighting the beauty of choosing life, the strength of mothers, and what it means to have a village of support for single moms.\u00a0As a teen mother, Joy had to overcome some remarkable challenges<\/a>. She entered an abusive relationship where she stayed for five years, giving birth to three more babies by the time she was 21. When she finally broke free of the abuse, she went to culinary school and became a chef, eventually becoming the first African-American and the first woman to become an\u00a0executive chef in her company. She faced more challenges as a single mother, but both she and her first baby boy have grown into successful individuals with strength, faith, joy, and determination.<\/p>\n

“I had him when I was 16,” wrote Joy. “I chose not to abort my baby. Although I was scared and humiliated. Look at what God has done with his life!”<\/p>\n

I am so emotional this morning. My chest hurts because I\u2019m so proud. Is that even possible lol. ?\u2764\ufe0f Well guys Quinton is graduating Kolbe Cathedral High School today. He is not a father, He has no criminal record, He has 2 jobs, He is graduating with honors,and he is going to play basketball at Keene State with just about 75% of his tuition being paid for by scholarships. I had him when I was 16. I chose not to abort my baby. Although I was scared and humiliated. Look at what God has done with his life! I\u2019m just going to be crying all day I am not holding back! He\u2019s passed me and what I accomplished at his age. This feeling is so heavy. A good heavy. Thank you God.
