The &#8220;Pro-Life Replies&#8221; series tackles common pro-abortion arguments, with previous videos debunking the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/live-action-pro-life-replies-body-choice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;My Body, My Choice&#8221;<\/a> argument, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/live-action-video-knows-life-begins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;No One Knows When Life Begins&#8221;<\/a> claim. The &#8220;I&#8217;m Personally Pro-Life, BUT&#8230; &#8221; video is narrated by Live Action founder and president Lila Rose.<\/p>\n<p>Many people claim they personally oppose <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion<\/a>, yet don&#8217;t want to force their morality on other people. &#8220;The reality is, if we acknowledge that abortion takes the life of a human being, then we should be opposed to all abortions,&#8221; Rose pointed out. &#8220;Every innocent human being has a right to not be killed, and that\u2019s why we can\u2019t just be &#8216;personally pro-life&#8217;.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7YzY5kuOhxE\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Those who are &#8220;personally pro life\u201d in an effort to be fair towards other people&#8217;s views actually put forth a view that is very unfair. It would be unthinkable for someone argue that while they would never abuse their own child, others can &#8212; and yet, that exactly is what abortion is: the ultimate form of child abuse. And there is no other circumstance under which this argument would hold up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Imagine if someone said, &#8216;I&#8217;m personally against slavery, but I wouldn\u2019t stop anyone else from owning slaves.&#8217; Or, &#8216;I&#8217;m personally against the Nazi Holocaust, but wouldn&#8217;t want to stop anyone else from persecuting Jews&#8217;,&#8221; Rose said. &#8220;We would think they were terribly confused or just cowardly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Being pro-life does not take rights away<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/personally-pro-life-live-action-video\/lila-3-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-203312\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-203312\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3-700x363.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3-700x363.png 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3-300x156.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3-768x399.png 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3-500x260.png 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/lila-3.png 1273w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/is-personally-pro-life-good-enough\/\">Is \u201cpersonally pro-life\u201d good enough?<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many abortion advocates have couched abortion in the language of women&#8217;s rights, and therefore, banning abortion means taking women&#8217;s rights away.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The right to life is the number one right that &#8216;We the People&#8217; under the Constitution of the United States have promised to protect, along with liberty and the pursuit of happiness,&#8221; Rose said. &#8220;If our laws do not protect the right to life, then they are failing their most basic function. So it is actually impossible to be just &#8216;personally pro life.&#8217; You either believe in the right to life for all human beings, or you do not.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A common constitutional argument is that one person&#8217;s rights ends where another person&#8217;s rights begin. So, far from taking away someone&#8217;s rights, pro-life laws protect them. &#8220;No one should think they have the right to kill an innocent human being, especially if that human being is their own child. Let that sink in. 60 million human lives, and\u00a0these lives continue to be killed every day,&#8221; Rose said. &#8220;In our country. In our states. In our cities. For many of us, it happens down the street. This is the greatest civil rights crisis of our time and we can\u2019t just sit on the sidelines.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And because this crisis is so great, we are all called to work to bring an end to the killing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From\u00a0educating one another on the reality of life in the womb, to exposing the horror of the abortion industry, to giving charitably to support new mothers and fathers, to ministering outside of abortion mills, to opening our homes to children that need foster care or adoption,&#8221; Rose said. &#8220;And vote: vote with your ballots, vote with your dollars, make the pro-life position heard with your posts on social media.
