Pennsylvania state representative\u00a0 Brian Sims uploaded videos of himself, taunting and harassing peaceful pro-life sidewalk counselors outside the Locust Street Surgical Center Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/health-center\/pennsylvania\/philadelphia\/19107\/locust-street-surgical-center-3360-91460\/abortion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commits<\/a> abortions up to 15.6 weeks gestation. The facility is operated by Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/8d\/1f\/8d1f93d4-9c65-45fe-9ff3-2a9d2d377106\/1003_pes_abortion_options_0416.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advertises<\/a> abortions at various facilities up to\u00a016.4 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Between\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/71\/99\/7199c21d-f15e-4903-83ad-e1d287076921\/ppsp_annual_report_2017_fnl.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2017<\/a>\u00a0(7,952) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/4b\/82\/4b82d6b7-b630-423d-b266-fb450fdf2eb2\/ppsp_annual_report_2018_fnl_010719.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2018<\/a>\u00a0(8,088), PPSP has ended the lives of over 16,000 preborn babies with abortion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uZUDs5XkLoc\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, Sims was the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrianSimsPA\/status\/428608029076901888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recipient<\/a> of the &#8220;Champion of Choice Award&#8221; issued by NARAL Pro-choice America.\u00a0Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, and state Rep. I\u2019ve also known something&#8230;. Everyday that we stand up as allies to the women\u2019s and reproductive rights movement and that is the reality of the privilege that we carry as men\u2026.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He then recounts a time on the House floor where he defended abortion: &#8220;On the afternoon in April of last year when I stood up in chambers and opposition to a bill that would ban private insurance companies from offering private insurance to a woman for something she has a Constitutional right to to do with her own personal funds, I asked my colleagues <strong>how it was that in a room of nearly 160 men <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>I was the man that respected women the most.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Respect is a term apparently only reserved for women who support abortion. In his shameful conduct outside PP, Rep. Brian Sims gave at the 2017 Philly Women&#8217;s rally, he claimed the problem of misogyny was created and perpetuated by men. He then vowed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;I will not tolerate <strong>sexism<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I will not forgive <strong>misogyny<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I will not turn a blind eye to the <strong>patriarchy<\/strong> that cripples our government and this nation.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sims went on, &#8220;In our city halls, in our Senate floors, in our boardrooms and in our back rooms, we are a country that cannot and will not succeed without the courage, the vision, bravery, and <strong>the empathy of women<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Claiming to have gone &#8220;toe to toe&#8221; with the &#8220;enemies&#8221; of Planned Parenthood and &#8220;choice,&#8221; Sims added, &#8220;I know without question what this Commonwealth needs, <strong>what this nation needs, is for women to be treated with absolute equality and dignity and nothing less.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He then challenged men to see their &#8220;cowardice, insecurity and fear&#8221; and to &#8220;<strong>rise above the fragility that you must feel in order to feel superior over someone else.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ending his speech by telling the crowd, &#8220;<strong>Expect respect and by all means demand dignity.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rep.
