The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/womens-health-policy\/poll-finding\/kff-poll-public-opinion-and-knowledge-on-reproductive-health-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a>,\u00a0a sample of 1,200 adults, was designed and analyzed by public opinion researchers at the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF).\u00a0 Pollsters <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/healthcare\/442016-poll-majority-oppose-trump-administration-restrictions-on-abortion-funding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">concluded<\/a> that\u00a0not only did a majority of respondents <em>oppose<\/em> barring federal funding from facilities that provide abortions or abortion referrals, but that, despite the fact that state funds can and do pay for abortions,\u00a069 percent of respondents said they would like taxpayer funds to continue to benefit Planned Parenthood. But can those results be trusted? As it turns out, probably not.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/propaganda-poll-public-support-funding-planned-parenthood\/\">a previous post<\/a>, Live Action News noted how the questions appeared skewed heavily in favor of Planned Parenthood, and how the Kaiser Family Foundation left out important facts that may have swayed the results to support public funding of the abortion corporation. Why might Kaiser have left out those facts? Because Kaiser Family Foundation has an extreme pro-abortion bias.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The pollster, the Kaiser Family Foundation, has been awarded by Planned Parenthood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) as well as the The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation were named past\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/about-us\/newsroom\/campaigns\/ppfa-media-excellence-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recipients<\/a> of Planned Parenthood&#8217;s infamous PPFA Maggie Award. The award, according to older pages <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20190503222414\/https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/about-us\/newsroom\/press-releases\/planned-parenthood-calls-nominations-2010-maggie-awards-media-excellence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preserved<\/a> by WayBack Machine, was originally named after Planned Parenthood&#8217;s infamous founder, Margaret Sanger, who even gave <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-founder-margaret-sanger-spoke-ku-klux-klan-supported-eugenics-organization-still-honor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Klan speeches<\/a> and was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthoods-connections-to-eugenics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">entrenched<\/a> in eugenics who advocated for the forced sterilization of groups she deemed unworthy to procreate. Sanger even pushed the idea that grown adults should need a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/how-planned-parenthood-abortion-corporation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">license<\/a> to have babies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The pollster, the Kaiser Family Foundation, was an original abortion pill investor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Kaiser Family Foundation was also one of the original investors of the abortion pill, RU-486, when it was first introduced into the United States through the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/population-council-founded-eugenicists-promoting-abortion-turns-65\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Population Council<\/a>, a eugenics-based organization with direct ties to the abortion industry. In addition, Kaiser helped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1993\/09\/09\/us\/broader-uses-seen-for-abortion-pill.html?searchResultPosition=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fund studies<\/a> on multiple uses of the pill.<\/p>\n<p>The revealing information comes from a November 2000 report <a href=\"http:\/\/community.seattletimes.nwsource.com\/archive\/?date=20001119&amp;slug=TTUJ2CJCR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published<\/a> by the Seattle Times and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/archives\/la-xpm-2000-nov-05-mn-47330-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles Times<\/a>, published as the Population Council was creating a manufacturer of the abortion pill, now known as Danco: &#8220;The Population Council raised $16 million from like-minded foundations, including the Open Society Institute of New York, which is the philanthropic arm of billionaire George Soros, and the California-based <strong>Kaiser Family Foundation<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This was backed up by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everycrsreport.com\/files\/20010223_RL30866_c6c423f682c56ed7c586755595c02d5202ddf6bd.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congressional Research Service<\/a> (CRS), which stated in 2001, &#8220;From October 1994 to September 1995 the Population Council conducted a U.S. trial of RU-486 involving 2,121 women. The Population Council raised $16 million from other organizations, such as the Open Society and the Kaiser Family Foundation, in order to conduct the trial and prepare the documentation necessary to receive FDA approval.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Live Action News has been documenting Planned Parenthood&#8217;s efforts to <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-abortion-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">expand abortion<\/a>, specifically <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/dangerous-self-abortion-pill-push\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telabortion<\/a> via abortion pills being sent by mail order. Packard also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.packard.org\/grants-and-investments\/grants-database\/gynuity-health-projects-llc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">funds<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-industry-pushing-home-abortions\/\">Gynuity Health Projects,<\/a>\u00a0which conducts abortion pill\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/clinicaltrials.gov\/archive\/NCT00994734\/2009_10_13\">clinical trials.<\/a>\u00a0And in 2017, Packard gave Kaiser a large\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.packard.org\/grants-and-investments\/grants-database\/henry-j-kaiser-family-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grant<\/a> of $500,000 &#8212; and in fact, Packard has been funding Kaiser for years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2003: <a href=\"http:\/\/990s.foundationcenter.org\/990pf_pdf_archive\/942\/942278431\/942278431_200312_990PF.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$25K<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2009: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foundationsearch.com\/990\/ARCHIVE\/9\/DAVID%20AND%20LUCILE%20PACKARD%20FOUNDATION%202009%20942278431.PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$730K<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1994 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packard.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Part-XV-Line-3a-Grants-and-Contributions-Paid-During-the-Year.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$500K<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Perhaps if Kaiser could see past its clear abortion bias, its pollsters would have asked those surveyed why poor women should be forced to go to an abortion vendor for healthcare.
