{"id":200879,"date":"2019-04-24T15:32:45","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T20:32:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=200879"},"modified":"2019-04-23T16:02:22","modified_gmt":"2019-04-23T21:02:22","slug":"two-ambulances-emergency-ohio-abortion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/two-ambulances-emergency-ohio-abortion\/","title":{"rendered":"Two ambulances respond to emergency at notorious Ohio abortion center"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Operation Rescue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/two-ambulances-respond-to-hemorrhaging-abortion-patient-at-preterm\/\">reports<\/a> that <em>two<\/em> ambulances responded to a call for a hemorrhaging abortion patient at the notorious Preterm abortion facility located in Cleveland, Ohio &#8212; a high-volume business that trains future abortionists.<\/p>\n<p>Pro-life sidewalk counselor Fred Sokol saw the ambulances arrive at Preterm on April, 17, 2019, and documented the incident. Operation Rescue obtained records, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/12000_Shaker_Blvd_R-1.pdf\">Computer Aided Dispatch printout<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In all the emergencies at Preterm, sidewalk counselors have never seen two ambulances arrive at the same time. Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, said, \u201cWe have been informed that in some areas, when a pregnant woman is hemorrhaging, two ambulances are dispatched; one to care for the mother and the other to care for her baby,\u201d raising the question &#8220;of whether the baby survived the abortion process for a short time\u201d but did not survive. However, at this time, there is currently no stated explanation for the second ambulance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xj1fjHBLDdo\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that Preterm is considered a medical facility, an employee there states on the 911 call that an abortion patient is in need of \u201cmedical assistance.\u201d She goes on to explain to the dispatcher that a 32-year-old woman hemorrhaged following an abortion at Preterm, stating, \u201cShe, uh, had an abortion &#8212; a second trimester abortion &#8212; and she kinda bled pretty heavy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sokol took photos of the ambulances and noted that, unlike all the other times ambulances have transported hemorrhaging patients from Preterm, in this instance, the ambulance backed into the driveway and the patient was kept inside the parking structure until the ambulance was backed into place, which took much longer than it would have to load the patient into the ambulance if it had remained parked on the street.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Operation Rescue released 911 records of another medical emergency at Preterm that occurred on April 5, 2019. Since March 2014, there have been 14 medical emergencies requiring ambulance transport from Preterm. Operation Rescue notes that most of the patients transported from Preterm for emergency medical care suffered hemorrhaging. This is one of the most common abortion complications and can be life-threatening, yet Preterm evidently remains unable to respond to these emergencies, endangering more women.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-facility-kicks-out-hemorrhaging\/\">Hemorrhaging woman calls 911 after abortion facility kicks her out<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preterm has a long history of endangering, and even killing, abortion patients in addition to the preborn babies whose lives are ended there. In 2015, 22-year-old <a href=\"t\">Lakisha Wilson<\/a> died following an abortion at Preterm at five months pregnant. She stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest, but 911 was not called for half an hour.
