The joyful news was <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/jenna-bush-hager-pregnant-how-she-told-hoda-kotb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced on the Today show Monday<\/a>, which Bush Hager co-hosts with Hoda Kotb, complete with a gender reveal, which showed that she is pregnant with a boy.<\/p>\n<p>Kotb was absent from the show, as she is on maternity leave after <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/today-hoda-kolb-adopts-baby-girl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">adopting baby Hope Catherine<\/a>, but she made an appearance via phone to congratulate her co-host on the happy news. &#8220;I&#8217;m so happy!&#8221; Kotb exclaimed, and then made it clear that Bush Hager had been confiding in her about the pregnancy. \u201cJenna, first of all, you\u2019re amazing. And when you told me that you were pregnant, I still remember because \u2026 we were wondering about adoption issues, but listening to you, I was praying. This is the year of Jenna Bush Hager.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For Bush Hager, the pregnancy came with some guilt, as people around her have struggled with infertility. \u201cWhen I had that conversation with Hoda, because I knew she wanted this baby, I called my mom,\u201d she said. \u201cI said, \u2018Barbara\u2019 \u2014 who just got married \u2014 \u2018and Hoda, they want these babies, and I have this guilt.\u2019 And my mom said, \u2018Everybody gets their babies when they\u2019re supposed to.&#8217; My mom and her mom before her struggled with infertility forever, and so I thought that was a beautiful thing to say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/today-hoda-kolb-adopts-baby-girl\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Today Show host Hoda Kotb adopts second baby girl, Hope Catherine<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bush Hager and her husband are parents to 6-year-old Mila and 3-year-old Poppy, and she explained that she had experienced fertility problems of her own when trying to get pregnant with Poppy. &#8220;I don\u2019t take this lightly,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I know how blessed and lucky I am. It\u2019s an amazing gift. So Hoda, thank you for your love and happiness and support \u2014 and give that baby a kiss.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an adorable video, she shared how she broke the news to Mila and Poppy, who said they had been praying for a baby.
