UPDATE, 10\/3\/2019:<\/b> Live Action News has discovered that sometime between August and September 2019<\/a>, the status of this clinical trial<\/a> was changed from “suspended (safety)” to “Terminated (Safety)”.<\/p>\n

UPDATE, 8\/15\/19<\/strong>:\u00a0In August, sponsors of this study changed the status of the clinical trial<\/a> to “suspended (safety).” Live Action News inquired about the change<\/a> to the FDA, which responded by e-mail, stating, “The FDA generally cannot confirm or deny the existence of or comment on any pending investigational new drug (IND) applications. For this type of information, we suggest you contact the sponsor.” No additional information from the sponsor has been published at this time.<\/p>\n

4\/19\/19<\/strong>: The principal investigator of a study<\/a> seeking to disprove the legitimacy of abortion pill reversal has direct ties — including financial ties — to abortion pill manufacturer Danco, which was\u00a0formed<\/a> by the eugenics-founded Population Council.\u00a0This potential conflict of interest should demand scrutiny from the media — but instead, the media willingly questions abortion pill reversal based upon a single “expert” that receives compensation from Danco<\/em>. This “expert” is\u00a0Mitchell D. Creinin, a professor at\u00a0University of California, Davis<\/a>, sponsor of the\u00a0study<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Creinin has long history with abortion. <\/strong>He is an\u00a0abortionist<\/a>\u00a0who was\u00a0involved<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0clinical trials<\/a>\u00a0of RU-486 at\u00a0Magee-Women\u2019s Hospital<\/a>\u00a0Dept. of OB\/GYN Pittsburgh, PA. He was the\u00a0previous<\/a>\u00a0medical and lab director of\u00a0Planned Parenthood<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Western Pennsylvania<\/a>, as\u00a0described<\/a>\u00a0by Oxford University Press. He worked on an abortion training\u00a0publication<\/a>\u00a0for the National Abortion Federation (NAF). He has served on the\u00a0Board of Directors<\/a>\u00a0for the Association for Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP). He is also listed among the\u00a0advisory counsel<\/a>\u00a0for the early abortion training guide\u00a0published<\/a>\u00a0by Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH<\/a>), part of UCSF\u2019s Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As I detailed in a Twitter thread shown below, Creinin’s abortion history and connections to the abortion pill’s manufacturer are deep and worth mentioning. This calls into question the validity of his study into abortion pill reversal. Creinin has financial incentive to make sure the abortion pill remains in demand, as do the study’s sponsors<\/strong>. This is a blatant conflict of interest.<\/p>\n
