The Woman&#8217;s Hospital of Texas reported the joyous news, stating that Chiaka and all of her babies are doing well.<\/p>\n<p>The babies were born on March 15th, between 4:50am and 4:59am. The babies are three sets of twins &#8212; two sets of twin boys and one set of twin girls. Her daughters are named Zina and Zuriel, and at the time of this writing, she had not yet chosen names for her little boys. A Facebook post from the hospital said they were &#8220;honored&#8221; to welcome the babies, and noted that the odds of giving birth to sextuplets is estimated at 1 in 4.7 <em>billion<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FTheWomansHospTX%2Fposts%2F10156254580876048&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"561\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/center><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/sextuplets-refusing-selective-abortion\/\">Family welcomes sextuplets after refusing selective reduction abortion<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Someone is more likely to win the lottery twice than they are to give birth to sextuplets, but Chiaka has done it, and in amazingly fast time. The babies all range in weight from 1 lb, 14 ounces to 2 lbs, 14 ounces, and are all in stable condition. They&#8217;re being looked after in the hospital&#8217;s neonatal intensive care unit.<\/p>\n<p>While Chiaka and her babies are doing well, multiples pregnancies are known to be risky.\u00a0In 2017, the Waldrop family <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/sextuplets-refusing-selective-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">also welcomed sextuplets<\/a>\u00a0after refusing their doctors&#8217; offers to undergo &#8220;selective reduction&#8221; &#8212; or subject some of their babies to abortion. In multiples pregnancies, preterm birth is extremely likely, while the mother is at higher risk for contracting gestational diabetes, having high blood pressure, and experiencing post-partum hemorrhage. Yet the Waldrop family is thriving, which the Waldrops credit to their faith.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our faith in God is very strong, and we never would have thought we would have considered that. But with the risks involved, no doctor could sugar coat what could happen,&#8221; Courtney Waldrop told People. &#8220;The risks are real for me and for the babies.
