A\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0presented by abortion counselor\u00a0<\/span>Alissa Perrucci, Phd, MPH<\/a>,\u00a0who\u00a0describes<\/a> herself as “shepherding the counseling revolution,” presents as normal the idea that there is no moral distinction between parenting a child and ending a child’s life in an abortion. The video<\/a>, “Decision Counseling for Positive Pregnancy Test Results,” was\u00a0<\/span>uploaded as part of training modules from Innovating Education,<\/a>\u00a0a\u00a0project of the\u00a0Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health<\/a>\u00a0at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).\u00a0Bixby\u00a0trains abortion providers though its\u00a0Ryan Residency Training Program.<\/a><\/p>\n

Perrucci is a\u00a0Counseling and Administrative Manager at the\u00a0Women\u2019s Options\u00a0Center<\/a>, an abortion facility within San Francisco General Hospital. She admitted<\/a> to All-Options<\/a>, “Our clinic is the safety net clinic for Northern and Central California, accepting Medi-Cal<\/a> as full payment to 24 weeks….”\u00a0 In her book<\/a>, Perrucci claims that being an abortion counselor brings her joy, “when women are walking toward the exit after their abortions….”<\/p>\n

In the video<\/a>, Perrucci states that in the decision between abortion and parenting, one “pregnancy decision is not more moral than another.” Of the woman contemplating her choices, which include abortion,\u00a0Perrucci says, “She is a good person making a moral decision about herself,” adding, “The patient has the answer for her dilemma.”<\/p>\n
