Caring about every stage of life is pro-life.\u201d\u00a0These are words from Democrat Katrina Jackson, an African-American state legislator from Louisiana who shared her personal story of becoming an advocate for both life and women\u2019s health in an interview with The Daily Signal.<\/p>\n

Jackson represents the 16th District of Louisiana and has served in the state House of Representatives since 2011. She was one of the few in her party to address<\/a> the thousands gathered to memorialize and march for the unborn earlier this month at the 46th March for Life.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Louisiana, it doesn\u2019t matter if you\u2019re Democrat or Republican, black or white\u2014we fight for life,\u201d Jackson said at the March for Life rally.<\/p>\n

The liberal Left continue to push their radical agenda against American values. The good news is there is a solution.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tell people in my state when they ask me, \u2018Why are you a black, female, Democrat lawmaker fighting for life?\u2019 I tell them because I\u2019m a Christian first,\u201d Jackson added. \u201cAnd then I tell them that Proverbs say God hates the shedding of innocent blood. There\u2019s no blood more innocent than an unborn child who\u2019s never sinned, who never knew sin, and so for them \u2026 we will fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
