Pro-abortion state governments in the U.S. are lining up to legalize abortion on demand out of fear that Roe v. Wade<\/em> will be overturned. Vermont legislatures aren’t wasting any time pushing a bill<\/a> to “recognize as a fundamental right the freedom of reproductive choice,” and their end goal is to turn that bill into an amendment in the state constitution.<\/p>\n

“Vermont… has legalized abortion through all nine months of pregnancy without a single restriction or regulation on the practice of abortion – not even that a doctor perform the procedure; no limit on how late into pregnancy; and … legalized physician-assisted suicide. And now it wants to enshrine death into the Vermont Constitution,” Mary Hahn Beerworth of the Vermont\u00a0Right to Life Committee told One News Now<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vermont<\/a>\u00a0has no waiting periods, no parental notification laws, and no limits on public funding of abortion. This new bill will expand on that and ban state and local law enforcement from prosecuting “any individual for inducing, performing, or attempting to induce or perform the individual’s own abortion.” The bill also states that preborn children will not have any rights in the state of Vermont, even up until the moment before they are born.<\/p>\n
